So far my vote is for Baker Mayfield. No one contributed more for our win

Lazard had it in the bag if he caught the TD he dropped; 2 TDs and the big one-hander? Yeah.

Rasul I guess could get it on the results, but he definitely held on his second pick and on Savage's pick, so it feels a little dirty to reward him for lucky no-calls

That's just "veteran savvy" ala Charles Woodson

O-line needs some serious consideration. Yes, the brownies D line was not full strength but they once again did a damn fine job.

Lazard should get consideration although he faded a bit down the stretch.

Did you watch Rodger's interview after the game, on the field? Whose name did he mention as being the star of the game? I will defer to AR's judgement and agree with him.

Douglas with 2 picks is this week's winner in my book.

Yes it has to be Rasul even though no one on defense could tackle today. I knew I shout have picked Baker!

Rasul. Not going to join all the other negative talk around this game, but no one else jumped out consistently.

Wish someone had picked Yosh. I read somewhere he only allowed one QB hit all game going against Myles Garrett. That's impressive work.

But yeah, it's gotta be our newest "superstar" Rasul Douglas.

One of my favorite plays by Rasul yesterday, even though Aikman somehow couldn't figure out what was happening, was when no one covered Landry in the slot, and so Rasul tried to zone cover two guys by himself. Yes, he gave up the TD; but he forced Mayfield to have to make a decision instead of just hit the uncovered slot guy underneath by playing up on that guy, and still was in the best position he could have been to possibly get back to make a play on the ball behind him.

He did NOT prevent the TD and successfully guard two guys at once. But he tried to and did so ina way that made a busted coverage at least slightly more difficult for the offense. Had we had a free runner on a blitz or something, the split second his coverage bought the team might have mattered. It was someone else's mistake, he gave up the TD, but his "I guess I'll just try to cover 2 guys" mentality was a joy for me.

So yeah, even though he got way with defensive holding twice, I go Rasul.

Yup.

Rasul Douglas with Oline as Honorable Mention.

Eric Stokes is close. Catching the INT would have done it.

It's interesting how often in these close games, people point out the "ifs" that would have led to a loss, but hardly ever mention the "ifs" that would have sealed the deal without being close.

Rasul again
The Packers lunatic fringe is more visible because of sheer numbers. The Packers have one of the largest fan bases in all of sports. If the fringe percentage is the same as with other teams, then we end up with larger volumes of nut jobs. - JustJeff

Yeah. The game was bad. Our defense was bad.

But man. Devante Adams has a drop to ruin the NFCCG and had a drop that nearly ruined Christmas.

I've been ringing the bell of poor defensive play the last week and it's getting louder.

Everything they did well earlier in the year is ending. Their tackling is bad. And man. Savage is in a rut.

Since Rasul is going to win again. I'll go with Mean Dean since he had the second highest D grade with lower expectations than Rasul.

Rasul plays like his ticket has been punched to the pro bowl, He's a bit handsy, but that is how your taught to play, hand on the hip, back or shoulder helps a defender stay tight on the receiver, the rules limit it to 5 yrds but some officials allow a little more if it's not flagrant grabbing, others simply touching the receiver draws a flag, nice to see this crew let these guys play.

Rasul gets my vote even in this land slide, honorable mention to Lowery.
