Playoff Roster
Sounds like at least a few of the guys will be back for the playoffs. I'm concerned about letting Myers back and having him start over Patrick. If Myers had played all year then fine but I think Patrick has shown enough and has the experience to continue starting.
I'd be concerned with two rookies next to each other on the line especially with Myers only playing a handful of games. Or is the better move to play Myers and move Patrick to RG?

re-integrating healthy players who haven't been a part of the team's recent run of success will be one of the more underrated coaching challenges of MLF's brilliant run this season.
I think, now, Patrick is the Center or he goes to the bench. I get the concerns, but Myers is far more physical and would be a boost for the running game, but you can't argue with Patrick's production and experience. I guess I would entertain playing Myers over him, but it would have to happen right away in the Divisional Round or I would not mess with the operation until summer.packman114 wrote: ↑04 Jan 2022 08:26Sounds like at least a few of the guys will be back for the playoffs. Read More. Post Less.
Aren't we fortunate to have such a deep OL? I hope we can get Bak, Jaire, Z, Cobb and Meyers back for the playoffs. Getting any (or ideally all) of these guys back would be huge for us.NCF wrote: ↑04 Jan 2022 08:30I think, now, Patrick is the Center or he goes to the bench. I personally think the OL coaches and LaFleur have earned the right to do whatever the hell they want with the OL, and I'll blindly trust them to do the right thing. The coaching job they've done not only developing these low-cost players, but plugging them in and turning them into cohesive units... Chef's kiss.NCF wrote: ↑04 Jan 2022 08:30I think, now, Patrick is the Center or he goes to the bench. I mean, by rights, the OL of the past few weeks shoulda been a monumental disaster. Based on the names on their backs, they'd be lucky to have jobs as turnstiles at Walmarts. Instead, all we've had to do is limit the number of 7-step drops and equivalents a bit, and maybe give them a tiny bit more pass pro help than usual. LaFleur has still been able to run his offense, AR is alive, and running backs have eaten.
Whomever argues this year's 13-3 is all AR, and not about the coaching, has earned a slap in the face. With a salmon.
Yeah if I hear sh*t about the Packers, the surrounding team, coaching staff and front office this March after they just set an NFL record for most dominant roster over a 3 year span, I think we can start labeling people as clowns.
At this point I just pray and beg this season is capped off with a ring so this era gets the recognition and adoration it deserves.
A dead salmon, that's been sitting in the sun for a few days. Just talked about this (not the salmon part) on a call with some work people. This 3 year stretch has been amazing, and especially this year. This has been a full organization success story. Scouting, drafting, cap work, signings, medical, players, hell even the seamstress and field guys are stars this year (The Aaron Jones, dad's ashes situation). Proud to be a Packers fan regardless of the result and know we'll be in good hands for years to come.
RIP JustJeff
Lets chat about the guys who may be back.
Turner: we have heard it is not a season ender, he is not on IR, and he is yet to practice...3 weeks away from divisional round though, and that is alot of time for things to change. I guess he is 50/50 to be ready by then. Sound about right?
Meyers: The news from him has been quiet as a mouse right? Still on IR, still not practicing, we know he had a clean up operation. I say who knows with him. Im not really counting on it.
Jaire: He seems set to make a return at some point. I almost think he might have gotten some snaps against the Lions if he wasnt now on the Covid list. Great news.
Bahk: I was ready to write him off, but Lafleur broke some news saying in an ideal world he would play THIS WEEK. seems like a huge jump up from two weeks of not practicing at all. I am sort of in a "believe it when I see it" mode with him, but that at least sounds like hopeful news.
Z: I kind of have no hope, even though he is in GB and was on the sideline last week. That sounds like he at least thinks he might have a shot. But what is it that we could be waiting on? He had the back surgery, its probably healed up..its probably just a matter of working out and strengthening the back to prevent future problems or reinjury at this point. I think hes capable of coming back for the playoffs and playing limited snaps, i really think it will be up to him on whether he wants to risk himself, or just heal up and go look for a new contract in the offseason.
I miss anyone?
By that count, I see one guy for sure coming back (Jaire), 1 guy coach seems to think will be back soon (Bahk), two guys who we have been told will be back, but see no signs of it (meyers, turner), and one total mystery (Z).

missed Cobb, who Rodgers says is a certainty, and who is practicing
Good overall assessment

If LaFleur had ridden the same system MM ran to success, I'd give him less credit. Instead, he has brought in his system that not only was instantly successful in beta state, but has remained super succesful even when teams have gotten more and more tape on it, and as injuries shoulda devastated it. The adaptability of the O to injuries and opponents has been fantastic. And handling the roster... No drama except for some AR things that had nothing to do with the coach.go pak go wrote: ↑04 Jan 2022 10:50Yeah if I hear sh*t about the Packers, the surrounding team, coaching staff and front office this March after they just set an NFL record for most dominant roster over a 3 year span, I think we can start labeling people as clowns.

LaFleur hasn't been perfect with time out usage or challenges, but those complaints are pissing into a sea of successful deeper waters.
I dunno if he's the CoY, but he should get it for the three years of unparalled success.
we all have wanted what Lafluer has brought to our team, NO ONE more the Aaron Rodgers, some of us here have fawned over what Brady and Belichick where doing in NE for 5 or 6 years, playing stout defense coupled with a short west coast offensive scheme, with a better balance of run/pass.
why would any of us complain about what we've seen displayed on the field the last several seasons? however, should it be considered wrong to hope for additions, adjustments, corrections of anything concerning this team? I don't think so, in fact I think thats why we are all here.
