There is no such team I would not like. There is nothing close to 2008 where I did not want Romo’s Dallas or Kaepernick’s 49ers some years later. We can beat anybody but anybody can beat us, it just feels open.
It does certainly feel that way. There really isn't a "Hot" team like the Bucs were last year or like the 2010 Packers were. Based on talent and level of play, the Packers "should" be poised to win it all this year. Like others have said, more worried about us coming out flat and not being able to dig ourselves out of a hole.
We were just as "hot" as the Bucs were last year.

I always thought that "hot" going into the playoffs thing was weird. What is the definition of "hot"? I feel like it's more about the run you actually make in the playoffs and then use the regular season to fit that narrative.

Like the 2010 GB Packers were 2-2 their last 4 games and 3-3 their last 6 games. Yet that team was always commended as being "hot" going into the playoffs.

Agreed, especially with the bye worked in there, it's more about "getting hot in the playoffs" than "finishing the regular season hot"

It's also weird how, like, three weeks ago the Cowboys were "limping to 3 straight unimpressive wins where they should have looked better" and then they blew out the WFT, and suddenly it's "the Cowboys are hot, they've won 4 straight!" and then they lose a close game to a playoff Cardinals team and it's "can the Cowboys win the Super Bowl with Mike McCarthy?"

You just fit the narrative to the present.

This sentence just summarized how all sports, financial, and political media pundits and population in general go about their daily day.

Probably the Cardinals this year for me. I hate running QBS and the history they have against our team.

Most afraid of Tampa Bay def but I don't see Brady having the same result against us that he did last year.

By hot I mean the way they’re playing football. Going into last year’s playoffs, I don’t think anyone wanted to see the Bucs based on how they were playing. This year, other than the Packers, I just don’t see another team like that.

I know this isn't what the question is about, but I've always been a sucker for story lines, so the two teams I most want to see at Lambeau in January are Dallas and Tampa. Dallas just to recreate the Ice Bowl. Tampa just to avenge last season and see Brady go down in flames. Next in line, maybe the 9ers, also for vengeance.

The rest? Rams? Boring. Arizona? Boring. Eagles? Boring? Saints? No fun.

We really want the Eagles to beat TB. That will kill two birds with one stone: we won't have to face TB, and we will get to play against the Eagles.

Nah, would’ve much rather saw the Saints in the playoffs over the 49ers. Hakuna matata though. I like our chances with any of those teams coming to Lambeau.

Gonna be some good match ups next week. That Dallas-SF game should be fun. The Rams-Cards too.

Love seeing Dallas/49ers take one of the other out for us.

So if Philly wins we play them.

If not, 49ers if they win.

If not, Rams or Cardinals.

Cant play Dallas or TB divisional round.

I’d say ya, give me Philly from that lot for sure. Don’t really care after that. Any of the 3 would be tough.

My least favorite matchup would be the 49ers. They have a team that can compete in the cold. Still confident against them, just I think they’d give us the toughest fight.

Early point spreads have the home teams winning:
Buccaneers favored by 7 over the Eagles
Cowboys favored by 3 over the 49ers
Rams favored by 4 over the Cardinals.

I wish the cards had won. Playing the Rams and then Cards would have been ideal to me. I am not scared of playing Stafford at Lambeau at all. And the Cards in the cold dont scare me either. 9ers will always give me pause. Theyve got playmakers and they are tough. Just feels like a guy like Deebo can really be a thorn in our side.

But I agree we probably shouldnt be too scared of any of these guys. Of course I hope to see the eagles in the divisional round.

Yeah I'd say the Eagles are extremely unlikely to win. But we can hope!
