Honestly all this news is just heaven.
Like all throughout the year, even when we hit that bumpy patch, losing 2 out of 3, the goal was simple: we're going to be a contender, so maximize our playoff chances as best we can and we'll have reinforcements coming at just the right time. And we're here. And it's happening. Would it have been nice if all this started happening in week 17 so we could have given everyone more of a shot in week 18 and then have the bye practices? Sure.
But here we are, the #1 seed in the NFL, and getting healthier, getting former pro bowl players back into depth and specific roles...
2020 was our best shot at a Super Bowl since 2014. But 2021 is looking even better than them both. We have maximized our potential outcomes. We are the most likely Super Bowl winner by 538's ELO rankings (27% likely, next is KC at 21%), by Football Outsiders' DVOA-based projections (23.5%, next is KC at 17.8%). It's just a matter of execution and luck at this point. The team has accomplished all that it can, battled through injuries, and is getting players back at the right time. The regular season has been a resounding success.

I really hope Keke is ok. He's not a big enough name so no one seems to ask about him in pressers. Would love to have him back for the playoffs as well.

Yeah, all of that news literally makes my stomach churn in excitement and anticipation.

Yep, my biggest anxiety is that it really does look like everything has set up perfectly. This year is more like the '96 season than any other season since '96. Just feels like our year, and hope we finish the job.YoHoChecko wrote: ↑12 Jan 2022 11:43Honestly all this news is just heaven.

So Patrick is on Covid list. But he has plenty of time to get back with the new protocols, correct? Any report on if he's asymptomatic?
We are going to get the job done this year. Back in June i got a fortune cookie at a teriyaki place that said my favorite sports teams were going to be very successful. Since that time...the Bucks, Braves, and now Bulldogs have won titles. That’s 3 for 3. Packers up next.
Shout out teriyaki house in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

I was wondering about this after seeing snippets here and there throughout the year. I would say it is at least partially driven by the offensive line injuries.

With the return of Jaire, Z, Bahktiari, and Turner, seems like almost everybody is practicing and even keeping a high degree of health.
I really wanna see Jaire on a couple of offensive plays. Maybe a jet sweep here and there or in the slot a couple of times. Of course, I REALLY wanna see Z get his first sack!

Early forecast for the 23rd is high of 8 and low of -11! Looks to be a cold game!
I need eyes on this:
I count 9 different switches in week to week starters and 8 different offensive line start configurations. Let me know if I have something incorrect. The only thing we can say about the offensive line is that it was consistently inconsistent.

Last year was similar, also. It got less talk because Bakh was healthy and the offense was #1 in the league. But we have gone through 2 years of absolutel upheaval, musical chairs, no-names, draft picks, steady veterans, disappointing veterans. It has been INSANE turnover on the OL lineups.
Are my starters in the correct spots? Jenkins never played center this year, did he?YoHoChecko wrote: ↑13 Jan 2022 10:34Last year was similar, also.
