That's CRAZY!

A huge boast for OLB depth.

So we actually may have the question of who doesn't dress.

Hamilton obviously a no.

But we aren't dressing 6 OLBs. So who dresses between Tipa and Garvin?

I think Garvin is the overall better, but Tipa is surprisingly good as well and likely has better STs value.

I bet we dress Gary, Smith, Smith, Mercilus and Tipa if all are healthy.

With all these IR guys possibly contributing, a lot of these bottom of the roster guys aren't going to be there to dress anyway.

Galeai in all but 1 game has been brutal against the run. Garvin is the much better all around OLB. HOWEVER, ST does come into play here. I would say that is the deciding factor. Both have played a lot of ST snaps when they have been active.

What would be the precedent for a guy coming back with torn bicep after two months? Does this news show that Whitney is one of the toughest players ever and will endure tremendous pain to help us win? Or does this imply the tear was so tiny that it was barely a tear at all?

Not something we will know for now im sure, but Im certainly intrigued.

Gilbert Brown tore his (don't remember which year) and didn't miss a game.

Edit:
Brown had two good years after his return to football. However, he ruptured a biceps during the 2003 pre-season, but played on without having surgery. He recorded 14 tackles, one fumble recovery (the first of his career) and one pass defensed. In a victory over Chicago (Dec. 7), Brown posted a season-high four stops, along with a pass breakup.

A 3-week window opening; so maybe NFCCG or Super Bowl rotation. Would be nice for him to make a splash play or two to remind the world that Gutey did work this season

Don't remember who said it on Twitter, but I agreed from my own eyes, that Mercilus really solidified our EDGE run defense when he played.

Willie Davis was like that a little bit. Not sure if it was his way to take a rest, or what.

Well suppose he plays well in the playoffs.

One more good player that can't be resigned if the Packers keep AR.
