Figured I would throw this here just for fun since it is May and somewhat slow. Saw this, and immediately thought the Packers should be a bit higher when you are looking at offensive triplets, certainly above the Seahawks (Not sure why they are ranked so high).
Wisconsin Cheese Is Better Than California Cheese!
Yeah, that is pretty flawed. A rookie RB coming in the #1 spot? Please.

Wow, yeah; definitely should be above the Seahawks and the Ravens in this.
The "triplet" model of success hasn't really been great for a while, but defined my childhood (Aikman, Emmitt, Irving) and helped lead me to become a Packers fan when I thought Favre, Sharpe, Bennett would be the next big thing in triplets.
The Packers may not have depth at WR, but going by #1 QB, RB, WR, they're really among the best in the league. Putting Lockett and Carson and Mark Andrews and even Mark Ingram into the elite category is laughable; genuinely laughable.

I get Godwin has come a long way and emerged as a threat, but is anyone other than QB the correct player to put in the TB triplet?

I don't understand the numbers, how do they come by the triplet number (Packers are 8.3).

these rankings are obviously giving tons of weight to how elite the QB is. Only reasonable way to put seahawks that high.

It looks like they're just giving guys a score 1 through 10 and averaging the three numbers.
So they say Rodgers is an 8 out of 10, Jones is an 8 out of 10, and Adams is a 9 out of 10.
Similarly, it's Wilson 10 out of 10, Carson 6 out of 10, and Lockett 8 out of 10.
It looks like the only WRs to get 10 of 10 are Julio Jones, Michael Thomas and Tyreek Hill
...and... no RBs get a 10?

That can't be it as we have a total of 25, the Chiefs have a total of 26, the Seahawks have a total of 24. They say they weight the QB, but how?YoHoChecko wrote: ↑28 May 2020 10:59It looks like they're just giving guys a score 1 through 10 and averaging the three numbers.

If it was just Average it should be: Saints, Cowboys, Chiefs, Packers, Ravens.

So how does that give the Seahawks an 8.8? Seems like they are weighing QB and WR more heavily.YoHoChecko wrote: ↑28 May 2020 10:59So they say Rodgers is an 8 out of 10, Jones is an 8 out of 10, and Adams is a 9 out of 10.

Oh good call. I like the non-weighted averages better.
But also would knock the Cowboys' QB down a notch from 9

I still can't wrap my head around how this is an 8.65:
5. Ravens (8.65)
Lamar Jackson (10), Mark Ingram (7), Mark Andrews (7)
And this is an 8.3:
T-6. Packers (8.30)
Aaron Rodgers (8), Aaron Jones (8), Davante Adams (9)
Then how this is a 9.4:
1. Chiefs (9.40)
Patrick Mahomes (10), Clyde Edwards-Helaire (6), Tyreek Hill (10)
Straight averages equal out to be 8.33, 8.33, and 8.66. I will play around with the weights and see if I can figure it out.

QB weighted by 11, WR by 6, RB by 3 (so 55%, 30%, 15%)
Making it a 20-point scale (hence everything ending in .00 or .05)

Yep! There it is, nice job! Funny they still $%@# up on the Eagles. Eagles should be a 7.9, not 7.85. Wonder if they are downgrading because of Ertz...YoHoChecko wrote: ↑28 May 2020 11:46Got it.Pckfn23 wrote: ↑28 May 2020 11:34I still can't wrap my head around how this is an 8.65:

Not sure I agree with their weights. #1 WR is twice as important as #1 RB. QB is 2.66 times more important than #1 RB. Still need to ponder that one.
