From Lambeau to Lombardi, Holmgren, McCarthy and LaFleur and from Starr to Favre, Rodgers and now Jordan Love we’re talking Super Bowl Champion Green Bay Packers football. This Packers Forum is the place to talk NFL football and everything Packers. So, pull up a keyboard, make yourself at home and let’s talk some Packers football.
I was shocked to see Clements will be back in town.
1) It's a great hire. By all accounts, he's a heck of a QB whisperer.
2) In theory, this will help the Packers keep Rodgers if that's what they want to do.
3) This should be good for Love's (and Benkert's) development.
I still think Rodgers is gone though; I'm at about 20% stays vs. 80% gone.
IMO the only way he is gone is if he asks to be traded.
Palmy - "Very few have the ability to truly excel regardless of system. For many the system is the difference between being just a guy or an NFL starter. Fact is, everyone is talented at this level."
You people will debate anything. But Clements back and everyone is like, whatever. Just funny is all.
Because people don't know anything about coaches. The only time someone has a comment on a coach is when they are obviously bad because it's plain to see therefore easy to debate.
The Adam Stenovich promotion didn't get much either because he seems really good but that's about all there is to say. So you lose the 3 pages of worthless "chain of command to Murphy" that inevitably occurs when it's a bad hire/bad outcome.
Does not surprise me in the least. I think AJ Dillon was by far the most underrated Packer in 2021 and I think AJ Dillon's absence both postseasons is the largest reason we didn't win.
That dude is just important for us. One of the best picks by Brian Gutekunst.

And, a number of people criticized the Dillon pick by Guty. But this guy is a real difference maker.
Come on down and try some of our delicious green chili! Best in the world!
Would be cool to get an off-season schedule compiled like Jeff always used to make. Franchise tag deadline, compensatory picks released, combine, draft, mini camp, etc etc, all the important dates.
I can work on it next week if no one beats me to it

I wasn't pro Dillon, in fact I was fine with resigning Williams, and taking a WR or TE which we did a round later, Dillon though has been a really good pick, the thunder and lightening duo of him and Jones wore down a lot of defenses last year, and as this OL becomes more consistent if it stays healthy these two can carry a offense, smart draft pick.

If you haven't figured it out by now, you never will.
Allen Lazard had just over 500 yards this season in the regular season, and 6 yards in the playoffs. He has one career TD in the postseason, what am I supposed to be understanding?
Hes a good role player. Hes a good blocker. I am happy he is on the team. But you dont get national respect by catching one ball for 6 yards in a playoff game. In fact, you gain no ground in defending yourself against slanderers with a stat line such as that.
No one cares if you got open on some plays and the QB didnt see you. "Getting open" is not a stat.
