1.5 million base salary, $2 million signing bonus hit this year (3.5 hit this year), 3 void years at $2 million each. Gronk gets 9.5 million.

If you gunna yolo, might as well yolo, lol.

Not a report per se, but those are better betting odds than they should be.

If this happens then defenses cannot laser in on only Adams. Gronk would be one guy AR wouldn't hesitate to throw to. I'm not holding my breath, however...

paco,

I might be mistaken, but I think the 1972 first round pick was Jerry Tagge, not Jerry Taste. I remember Tagge painfully well. He was the best of a stack of awful QBs. He took mediocrity to new doldrums, er, heights. lol. But he was better than (less worse than) Scott Hunter or a host of others.
Yup, it was Jerry Tagge. He was a local kid who went to Green Bay West High School graduating in 1968. He played for us and in the CFL. Tagge joined the BC Lions in 1977. He finally saw plenty of playing time as a starter, and was awarded the Jeff Nicklin Memorial Trophy in his first season. He played three seasons with BC, until a knee injury ended his career in 1979.

He had a great bounce back season, in fact might be his best season, hopefully he'll sign a friendly contract, between he and Z, I think Prestin might be the safer of the two, back injury's seem to come back and linger, someone will pay Z though, when healthy he's as good as the best.

would still be nice to replace some of Z's 2019 production, either with a DT partner for Clark or another edge rusher, maybe mercilus will come back

just got home, need to turn on the combine news.

When was the last time the Pack dealt with a player's back injury on a major way that ended his career. What was that DLineman we got from the Saints a few years ago? He was real good with the Saints and hardly played a down for us.
_____ Johnson?

no smoke Joe was the nik some of my Pack fans gave Johnson, in reference to a Joe that brought it ( Frazier ), huge miss, can't blame Sherman for trying, but ouch.

In 2002, the Packers gave the former Saints defender a six-year, $33 million contract that included a $6.5 million signing bonus. What they got in return was two sacks in 11 games over two injury-filled seasons before they cut him. It was one in a long line of mistakes made by Mike Sherman during his tenure with the dual role of coach and general manager. Johnson never played another down in the NFL after the Packers dumped him in June 2004.

and Mike Sherman was soon to follow

Jerry Tagge was on the roster from 1972 to 1974.

I have more memories of Jerry Tagge the (long since heard from) antagonist forum poster than Jerry Tagge the football player.

I agree with Bakh.

This is where media shoots themselves in the foot. Just have your tweet end at "Rodgers is expected to give his decision by Tuesday"

That last sentence is completely unnecessary and is why the players are getting upset at the media.

Silver apologized for being a stooge, but thats the new norm now, make any dirt bag comment possible, as long as you apologize within several days, it makes it alright.

Bak should cold shoulder Silver forever.
