Yup, it was Jerry Tagge. He was a local kid who went to Green Bay West High School graduating in 1968. He played for us and in the CFL. Tagge joined the BC Lions in 1977. He finally saw plenty of playing time as a starter, and was awarded the Jeff Nicklin Memorial Trophy in his first season. He had a great bounce back season, in fact might be his best season, hopefully he'll sign a friendly contract, between he and Z, I think Prestin might be the safer of the two, back injury's seem to come back and linger, someone will pay Z though, when healthy he's as good as the best.
would still be nice to replace some of Z's 2019 production, either with a DT partner for Clark or another edge rusher, maybe mercilus will come back

When was the last time the Pack dealt with a player's back injury on a major way that ended his career. What was that DLineman we got from the Saints a few years ago? He was real good with the Saints and hardly played a down for us.
