haaaa, I got the first initial right, I just read the other day that Pitt. was interested in Dashaun Watson, now they go and sign Trubisky
obviously Pitt. must feel theres some truth to all the civil suits, and just don't want to deal with that.

Not a chance we re-sign Campbell if this sort of money is getting tossed around.

whats that 15 mil annual? seems about right for a ILB these days, imo we are seeing some positional evolution now, offenses are using more on schedule passing, uptempo, to beat the increased pass rush we are now seeing, defenses have to have coverage to contest that, simply having a very good safety and slot corner isn't enough any more, your #1 ILB has to be able to cover as well as defend the run, so there gonna get there money because there just arn't enough of em that do both jobs well.
sure gonna hate to lose Campbell, price ya pay when a player does as well as he did
I think Pitt is gonna draft a qb and this gives them a more legit bridge to get him ready

I like the Trubisky signing for Pitt. I know the posters here like to goof on him but he is better than any qb in this upcoming draft. If he remains healthy he will be an upgrade over Ben.
Packers should have tried to resign Campbell about week 5 of last season. He big gone.

What’s that MVP title got the Packers? Maybe we should be talking about the supporting cast around Rodgers. Because for what he has been paid the last tens years you have just as much to show as the Vikings during that time period.RingoCStarrQB wrote: ↑14 Mar 2022 05:06With the right supporting cast on offense, defense, special teams, play calling and coaching .......... Kirk Cousins has the QB skill to win a NFCCG. But its the supporting cast stuff in Minnesota that may be brought into question. Good question for Vikings fans such as Raptor to answer I guess.Scott4Pack wrote: ↑14 Mar 2022 03:49Think about this.
Cousins hasn't won a playoff game in Minny and gets $35M.
Rodgers gets what is presumed will be over $45M next year and maybe beyond that. But he's won the NFC North how many times now and deposed several HCs.
Rodgers is being paid more. And that's good because he is two-time MVP in the last two years.
But is Cousins a good option for $35M? Yeah, he's a real good pocket passer for sure. But is he $35M-good?
MVS gonna make $25M/year! Adams going to ask for $40M.

That is insane. "Up to" obviously gives pause, and the NFL Network say that it's definitely upward of $15M annually when the dust settles, but still. Jags out here just breaking the market to get anyone in the building after last year's garbage fire. Sheesh.

Yikes
Kirk was my favorite WR in that 2018 draft, which was extremely weak for WRs.
That is nutty money though.
Arizona looking at getting a couple of 3rds as comp picks next year, when/if Chandler Jones signs.

Colts' social media team is great, lol.

Don't see any updates here. Didn't they just sign Campbell, even though it's impossible?
Yep, check the Packers news thread. All Packers moves talked about in there.Half Empty wrote: ↑14 Mar 2022 15:39Don't see any updates here. Didn't they just sign Campbell, even though it's impossible?
