NFL Draft 2022 - Day 2

If I had to guess, if we pick and don't trade, Ruckert. We take TE's in the 3rd.

Another one bites the dust.YoHoChecko wrote: ↑29 Apr 2022 21:23My want list for 92 right now includes:
Ruckert, TE
Robinson, EDGE
Parham, OG
Salyer, OG
Marcus Jones, CB
Bryant, DB
Cross, S
Parham to the Raiders.
I think Marcus Allen hates it even more when a wash out old man tries to say the pick "together"
MMMMMMMEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
He is my favorite TE prospect.
But you know how I feel about TE prospects.

Unfortunately that's where the board is. I was hoping OL would be a "tomorrow" thing.
I really wanted edge. But the board just didn't fall that way.
I mocked Ryan to us a LOT in the 3rd.
Love the pick.
Love the pick.
He is definitely a Packer type. I thought we'd go a different direction, but I'm good with the pick.

I alllllmost put him on my short list.
I just didn't want 3 guards on my list, haha. He's probs good.

Seems to fit the Packers OL mold. Never a bad time to add to the offensive line.
I wouldn't necessarily put him only at guard. I think he could seriously be thought of at RT.YoHoChecko wrote: ↑29 Apr 2022 21:57I alllllmost put him on my short list.

So is this a sign that Jenkins will move to RT and this guy will battle with Newman for RG. Yosh holds the fort until Jenkins can play? Or just wanted a guy who can play inside or outside for depth?
I wouldn’t, but I’ll be really excited to see where he ends up in 3-4 years
I like Nick Cross a lot. But not enough to give up a pick next year for him like the Colts did.

I’d say any and all.packman114 wrote: ↑29 Apr 2022 22:03So is this a sign that Jenkins will move to RT and this guy will battle with Newman for RG. Yosh holds the fort until Jenkins can play? Or just wanted a guy who can play inside or outside for depth?
No reason he can’t play tackle, but I think he’s a better guard.
I never hear Royce Newman mentioned as a RT option. I don’t think it’s likely, but I think it’s possible.
Anyways. Don’t think this pick matters a ton to where we want Elgton, my guess is they know where they’d like him, but know he can dominate wherever most needed.

You know Barry Sanders is a legend when the entire place just lights up when he walks out.
What did they give up? I missed it
Will be interesting to see who starts RT in TC with Jenkins on PUP. Regardless it will be good experience whoever gets the nod.BF004 wrote: ↑29 Apr 2022 22:08I’d say any and all.packman114 wrote: ↑29 Apr 2022 22:03So is this a sign that Jenkins will move to RT and this guy will battle with Newman for RG.
