Percent of vote the winner got will be in parenthesis, position change vs. 2019 will be in brackets.
Here's how this works:
Each day there is a new thread/poll, starting at #1, on down to whereever we get. The whole point of this exercise is to have something to talk about in the lean news months to carry us to camp. Each poll will be open for voting for 24 hours. New threads will only be created on weekdays. Ties will cause a runoff poll. You may vote up to TWO players (a change that was made mid-poll last year, seemed to work well).
Simply voting is not enough!
Post why you voted for who you did and provide a player to add to the next poll (every poll will be a list of 15-20 guys, new players added in bunches every few days).
Here's the thing. There is no criteria. This is an exercise to foster discussion therefore there are no clear criteria for ranking. Who is better right now? Who will have the best season? Who was better last year? Sort of a combo of them all? Do you take positional value into account? It really doesn't matter.

I'm going to go Quay and JRJ here. I could be persuaded to swap Watson for JRJ, but I think Quay should go before Watson.
Wyatt and Reed hear for me here. Reed has been playing with the 1s.
Whooooo this DL got an upgrade this offseason!!

Me too.
I think it is a tossup regarding the 3 high draft picks and Runyan and Tonyan.

Yeah, let's get Quay Walker on here. I love what I've been hearing about him: blowing up screens/checkdowns, holding his own against guys like Deguara and Jones(!) in coverage, looking like a guy who can flex out to edge.
I'm starting to see why we made him the first linebacker taken in the draft. Probable starter, high upside, well worth a vote at 17.

The #3 receiver before the #1? Wow. The #3 receiver before the #1b ILB and the #1 LG and the #1 TE and the #1 DE and the #1 RG?
OK, OK, maybe Watkins is the #2 WR. But it still makes no sense to pick WR#2 before WR#1.
WR#1 Christian Watson
WR#2 Alan Lazard
WR#3a Randal Cobb
WR#3b Sammy Watkins
3a vs 3b depending on who lands on IR first
Went Sammy Watkins and Quay Walker
When Realist asked why do we do these threads....I think my answer should have been because these threads bless us with the opportunity to see the roster insights of Skeptic.
I agree Watson could be our star. No doubt. But given Rodgers history with rookies, I'm not going to bet money on it. Especially to start the season.
My hope is he forms into that role in November

Actually I worry about that too. There will be rookie mistakes. The only solution is for Rodgers to throw to him anyway. So that he is ready for prime time in January. Otherwise it will be 1 and done again.go pak go wrote: ↑10 Jun 2022 08:34When Realist asked why do we do these threads....I think my answer should have been because these threads bless us with the opportunity to see the roster insights of Skeptic.

And that is why I went with Quay this time, Rodgers does not have a veto over who plays D
