Palmy - "Very few have the ability to truly excel regardless of system. For many the system is the difference between being just a guy or an NFL starter. Fact is, everyone is talented at this level."

Correct answer by Skeptic but certainly not the one I was thinking of. I'll wait awhile to show photos of physical examples (hint) / divulge what I was thinking of after others here have had a chance to ponder the question. The answer I was thinking of is not nearly as clever as what Skeptic came up with. But real nonetheless.
Skeptic is brilliant (today).

Reggie isn't/wasn't white, he was White. The others were/are white but not White.TheSkeptic wrote: ↑02 Jul 2022 08:23They are all white?RingoCStarrQB wrote: ↑01 Jul 2022 21:17What do Reggie White, Aaron Rodgers, Bart Starr, Brett Favre, Clay Matthews and Vince Lombardi have in common besides Super Bowl wins ?
Been a few days, what did you come up with?
Around 2002, what player was a Cal Bear recruiter scouting at Butte College?
Love is the answer…
I like this one because it ties together a bunch of recent conversations at the site.
Who had a hand in the Chicago Bears Super Bowl Championship, drafting Barry Sanders, and establishing NFL Europe and what is his connection to the Packers?

While not fan of Funko Pops generally, the Lombardi one is very nice indeed.

My sister collects certain ones. I don't really get the appeal, but then again, I collect lanterns. I must be just as nuts.

tough question , been thinking about it since you first posted it
Tagliabue headed up the Europe league back in the late 80's, that one was pretty easy, and we know that Bratz was GM for the Mandarich draft, and I doubt the DEtroit Lions listened very much to anything he had to say, so thats a stumper, as is who connected to the Packers helped the Bears win the 1985 SB, maybe I should know the answers to these, maybe the answer is obvious, but I'am drawing a blank on the last 2 parts.
Read his bio. I never knew this until I stumbled upon it.Yoop wrote: ↑06 Jul 2022 10:56tough question , been thinking about it since you first posted it
