watching practice tweets while driving at 80 mph on the 41 is probably dangerous :rotf:
Speed limit is 70 in I-41. Take the lead out of your shoe.
right, I was leaving GB going North on I-41 from Mason 2 weeks ago, about 4:15 and would have been run over doing 70, people where zooming by at about 85.

so then I take it watching practice tweets at the speed limit should be a bit safer :rotf: I can't even text minus a stylis or a pencil eraser, so thankful for bluetooth

Family Night Broadcast
For fans not attending the event, a statewide telecast will be available on various local and Packers TV Network stations. The stations broadcasting the event include NBC 26 WGBA-TV in Green Bay and WTMJ-TV in Milwaukee, as well as WAOW-TV in Wausau, WKOW-TV in Madison, WXOW-TV in La Crosse, WQOW-TV in Eau Claire, KQDS-TV in Duluth-Superior and WLUC-TV in Escanaba-Marquette. The event will also be televised on KWWL-TV and WHBF-TV in Iowa; KATN-TV, KYUR-TV and KJUD-TV in Alaska; and KDLT in Sioux Falls, SD.
Parts of Minnesota, Iowa, South Dakota, and ALASKA will get to watch it, but living in Wisconsin, I won't get it... :kaboom:

I go about 64-65. Gas costs too much to lose 3 mpg going faster. I can watch my phone all day at that speed.

You are very correct. Cars and especially SUV's and pickups are not designed to be aerodynamic over 70 mph.

Yep, it is pretty amazing the improvement in gas mileage you'll see by slowing down from 75-80 to 60-65. Most trips you wouldn't even realize that big of added trip time with the speed reduction, maybe a minute or two. The fuel efficiency is significant, though.

Anyway, I'll be looking forward to seeing Doubs with my own eyes tonight during Family Night. Some guys you can just tell are gonna be good. I remember Greg Jennings had that smoothness right off the bat. I wanna see that from Doubs.

this has become so PC, you should stand on I-41 with a slow down sign at 4:15, no one is doing 65, or 70, or 75. :rotf:

I tend to drive with the traffic, if it's doing 80, thats about what I do, if it's the speed limit, I do that to, where I live the speed limit is mostly 55, I cheat a little and do 60, big deal, seriously who doesn't know that driving slower uses less fuel, come on I want to see a show of hands from people that don't know that :munch:

All-Pro performance today from @Pckfn23! Awesome job with the tweets! :aok:
I was at midfield up in the back row. Hard to see everything going on sometimes.

Tonyan, Jenkins and Bakh were there but not participating. Rodgers looked sharp and relaxed. Doubs looks super talented. Love looked sharp ......... but not as sharp as Rodgers.

The #1 D looks ready! Jaire looks confident.

No comment on the Special Teams. Didn't see much.
Was looking forward to the Ringo Report.
Oh ... afterwards went to 1919 for some lunch. Tried a Curly's Ale which is a Leinie product. Light IPA. Highly recommend it.

Also revisited the Hall of Fame where they were putting the finishing touches on the Leroy Butler display, and also verified that the January 6, 1996 3-COM Park endzone grass is still there in all of its glory.

GO PACK GO!

More pass-catching 1-on-1s from Matt Schniedman:
One-on-ones
I counted 28 reps of one-on-ones between wide receivers/tight ends and cornerbacks/safeties at practice Thursday. Here are the results of each:

• CB Jaire Alexander breaks up a Rodgers pass to WR Allen Lazard after a curl route.

• TE Tyler Davis runs a corner route against S Vernon Scott, but Rodgers’ throw is high.

• WR Amari Rodgers absolutely cooks S Innis Gaines with a stutter-step and dig route and makes the catch.

• CB Rico Gafford has good coverage on a deep ball down the left sideline to WR Sammy Watkins that falls incomplete.

• CB Kabion Ento intercepts Jordan Love on a go-route pass to WR Juwann Winfree down the left sideline.

• CB Rasul Douglas pick-sixes Love on an out-route pass intended for WR Randall Cobb.

• TE Josiah Deguara makes the catch against Darnell Savage Jr. after a curl route.

• WR Danny Davis beats CB Donte Vaughn on a go route, but Love’s throw is long.

• WR Ishmael Hyman tries a stutter-step and go against CB Kiondre Thomas, but tight coverage causes an incompletion.

• TE Dominique Dafney runs a post route against S Dallin Leavitt, but Rodgers’ throw is long.

• WR Amari Rodgers runs an out route, but Gaines’ stellar coverage forces an incompletion.

• WR Romeo Doubs runs a dig route against CB Eric Stokes and makes a tough catch through airtight coverage before continuing downfield as Stokes sits on the ground and slams the grass with his hands.

• Watkins takes a while to get open against CB Shemar Jean-Charles, but he eventually runs down the middle of the field and hauls in a deep ball from Love.

• It looked like TE Alizé Mack faked a corner route before running a post route and leaving S Tariq Carpenter in another zip code before making the catch.

• Another incredible route, this time from Winfree against Gafford, faking an out and running a post before making the catch.

• Drill moves to the red zone, where Carpenter breaks up a pass for WR Davis on an out route.

• TE Davis runs right into Scott, and the ref throws a flag, seemingly for offensive pass interference.

• WR Samori Toure beats S Adrian Amos on a slant for a touchdown.

• Rodgers throws incomplete on a fade to Winfree against Ento in the back-left corner.

• Gaines breaks up a Rodgers pass intended for Amari Rodgers after a comeback route.

• Thomas breaks up a Love pass to Hyman after an out route.

• TE Sal Cannella draws a defensive pass interference penalty against S Shawn Davis while catching a TD from Love after a stutter-step and out route.

• Defensive coordinator Joe Barry is pumped for Gafford after he breaks up a fade from Rodgers to Doubs in the back-left corner.

• Douglas breaks up a pass from Rodgers to Cobb on a comeback route.

• TE Davis makes a great catch on a slant against Scott.

• Vaughn (I think) breaks up a pass for WR Davis on a curl route near the front-right pylon.

• Winfree runs a dig across the back of the end zone with Jean-Charles in coverage, but Love’s pass falls incomplete.

• Mack runs a curl against S Davis, but Love’s pass again falls incomplete as the defense finishes the drill with three solid reps in a row.
Without crunching the numbers, it does sound like Love was a little more off target yesterday than the previous day; Doubs continues to impress. Innis Gaines, Kabion Ento, and Rico Gafford making good pushes for playing time. Good stuff.
