First Field Goal of his career was 53 yards and he made it. Followed up with essentially a walk off FG of 43 yards to win the game. Packer legend.
I remember that game like it was yesterday. The first game I watched as a home owner on my &%$@ garage sale 27" CRT.

One of the best kickers to ever do it.
Let's not get crazy here. He was very good in the postseason, but regular season? No way.

81% kicker, best we ever had considering he did it twice as long as Ryan Longwell.

I went to bat big time for Mason during his 2012 slump. Great kicker. He had slumps, but so does every kicker. He was reliable when it mattered most.

Not at the tier of Jake Elliot, Justin Tucker, Jason Hanson, Matt Prater, Vinatieri, or David Akers but I would consider him in that next tier of best kickers in the last 1.5 generations or so. Especially considering he kicks at Lambeau Field and Soldier Field 9 games each year.

I would add Stephen Gostkowski and Robbie Gould to your elite tier.

Maybe...maybe I can agree with 2nd tier, but the numbers don't lie. He's #59 in FG% all-time. McManus has moved up to #51. Longwell is #40.

Bringin in facts, stats, and figures just ruins my vibe. And I want to vibe for Crosby.

Also the dude was a legit tackler. But I do get what you mean that the "feels" for Crosby oftentimes outweighed his actual numbers.

Mase had a big leg, and was clutch for us in many big games. His accuracy could run hot and cold, but having the career longevity that he did while kicking at Lambeau for half the season every year is no small feat, not to mention also having a historically poorly-coached unit around him for the latter half of his time here.

Packers all-time leading scorer and SB champion, on either of those alone he's a legend of our franchise. I wish him all the best in retirement.

The Packers need an interior Olineman, a WR and a CB. If, at #23, there is not a CB, a WR or a lineman that justifies that pick, then trade down. We won't know who is available at 23 until draft day. None of us have a clue about who is worth the pick and might last that long and won't until after the combine.

I hear Gute gas his eye on a developmental punter R1

Of the players that have a realistic chance of being there, I like Emeka Egbuka WR - Ohio St. The dude seems similar to Amon-Ra St. Brown but slightly bigger and likely faster.

I think Egbuka's a fairly safe bet to be a good player.

Daniel Jeremiah did his first mock, he has us taking a DE that fits the mold we have been drafting.

https://www.nfl.com/news/daniel-jeremia ... -draft-1-0

I'm more interested in who else he had available. He has my early draft favorite going in the teens (Barron). I am intrigued by the CB he has going to Baltimore. The other prospects taken after us don't interest me a whole lot, but I think that OSU WR was also available? I'd take him over a DE.
Jadhe Barron is my favorite player to us. A defensive back who can play anywhere. He is currently in late rd 1 and into Rd2 on a lot of boards but I agree with Jeremiah that he will continue to rise up the stocks in the Industrial Draft Complex world as we get closer to April.
I really like Barron too.

I think we should go after another receiver. Jordan needs more reliable options.
I like Golden a lot. Would be good with Egbuka too.

The Lombardi era of players was too stacked. Who's missing from the list? Jordy? Clay? Ahmad Green?
