F Buffalo for their strategy in this game. It’s not even good work our guys are getting.

I agree. Some coaches don't seem to get that these sessions are for evaluating your team, not getting a W.

This is one of the reasons I really turned against Chip Kelly years ago.

One of the goofballs on the Bills broadcast said James Lofton is almost a hall of famer.

Welp, season's over. We're well on our way to 0-3 at this rate, couldn't even beat the lowly Texans or Jets at home!! Maybe next year... :(

5.1 bomb.

If only he could be consistent.

I wasn't paying attention to this, but Lofton is one of the commentators.

Impossible block, regardless of who was there. The LB was lined up in the gap between the TE and tackle. Blitzed through the gap.
Not impossible. Routine.
How would a TE be able to block the below with the LB blitzing?

Code: Select all

            LB
DB LB DT DT
    TE OT OG OG
Linebacker blitzing so not trying to anchor or maintain gap integrity. There is no chance anyone makes that block. The only way would be to fold block it was the OT turning out the LB, but then you leave a hole for the DT. Not a good call or line needed to adjust the blocking scheme.
I’m not saying it’s easy, but cutting a guy in the gap is an assignment a lot of OTs and TEs are asked to make. We can look at the replay again when it’s available, but based on live and initial replay it was a pretty lackluster effort from Sterny.

Whether he should have made this block or not, Sternberger has not played a good game today.

No, they were showing Lofton in the Packers booth and made that comment.

It is good for us for the coaches to see how our backup stack up against their starters.

Yiadom with a nice pass break up there.

Denmark WHIFFS on the Fromm run for a TD.

To a point. When Oliver is beating up on Cole Van Lanen, it doesn't allow anyone else on the team to showcase themselves.

I couldn't say. I haven't seen much of our practices or games before today.
