I do hope it's not about the money...

The other teams under supposed consideration have ~$1.5m (Saints) and ~$2.5m (Chiefs) in 2021 cap space available respectively. Offer $2.6 mil and call it a day. $2.6 mil is chump change by todays cap standard.
And if you have to make another move the rest of the year? Any move from here on out for us is league minimum or nothing.

I'd be interested in seeing points per drive data or yards per play. MLF has made a point of slowing things down on offense and that typically results in less plays and fewer drives. If they're being more efficient than other teams with their opportunities, then I wouldn't consider them "average".
We are more efficient yes. I think we are the most efficient team per drive coming into KC.
Would you then still frame the Packers offense as "average"?
:rotf: good one.

vet min is low key disrespectful if your gonna make an offer at all. I would go about a million over that just to show you really tried and care. we are still only talking about 1.5-1.8 million.
I don't buy disrespectful. This is a guy that has done nothing over the past few years, has a bad reputation in league circles, and I, personally, am not convinced he even makes our WR group better. If his intent is to play for a contender and remake his image, league minimum for half a season doesn't seem like a bad deal to me. He'll likely make it up in droves after the season if he succeeds. If he doesn't, it's clear league minimum was the appropriate value, anyway.

Now, if a team is offering considerably more than that, I have no issue with the guy getting the money for his family. This truly is about what motivates him as a player if indeed GB is his preferred destination.

Who is Evan Massey and how the hell would he know?

Is Evan Massey credible, or just trying to make a name for himself?

Massey does mostly NBA stuff, but dives into other sports. Has done work for FoxSports, Yahoo, SI and others. He's a credible person.

Somebody needs to inform Tom Silverstein the Packers will not be able to afford Adams regardless of OBJ's status. That's long since been established by members on this board.

Someone leaking some fear material here trying to get a better contract methinks. Looking at the time stamps.

PFT also says that there's a firm belief that he'll end up with the Saints, but I don't get the logic there with their QB.

So many teams still in the running or supposedly still in the running. Don't freak out when he takes the money over the team.

Agreed. You never know what debts he might owe. Don't even mean that in a derogatory sense. Just never know someone's financial outlook and money usually wins in the end.

Oftentimes soon followed by regret.

Yup. He will never admit, but inside he knows this is absolutely true.

Craig prolly does regret going to the Vikings. He seems to not be able to forgive himself, so he projects that onto hate for Rodgers. But I dont blame many of these guys for chasing the check. They have a short window of time to buy everything they want, plus pass on some money to the kids, and their parents.

100%. It's easy for fans to get caught up in the loyalty argument, but ultimately, if any of us were in a position where we had another company reaching out to us promising more money for the exact same job duties, we'd have a hard time saying no.

Absolutely, no judgement with chasing the money. I think guys have a chance to make more if they picked a better situation for a little less in the short term, but agents want to right now guarantees. Fans jus want to believe money is not actually the top priority. You will see it here when OBJ signs somewhere else.

Odell has earned more than $75M from his football career and some unknown amount pimping products.
IF he is still putting money at the top of his Decider List, then he's not somebody GB wants for a Title run.

If you can't make it work for $75M, then another $1-3M isn't going to change anything.
