Chris Olave
Daxton Hill
Drake Jackson
Phidarian Mathis
Greg Dulcich
Kevin Austin, Jr.
Fire GUTE!!!!
I did the best I could with the board at each spot. A few spots I just missed out. I like each guy individually, but as a group, it's not doing much for me.

Some analysts think he's one of the best separators in the draft. Just that his size and speed shortcomings limit his role--limit it to exactly what the Patriots have maximized for years. Maybe without Josh McDaniels and Tom Brady, it's less applicable. But it still seems to suit Mac Jones' game just fine.Backthepack4ever wrote: ↑13 Apr 2022 10:44Thanks. he just fits their success with those little wrs over the last 20 yearsYoHoChecko wrote: ↑13 Apr 2022 10:17Kyle Phillips to the Patriots is too perfect for words. I only have one pick left in the exercise. Starting to think about how it's winding down.
Love what I did for the Falcons and Giants. Raiders and Colts had only a couple picks and they're meh. Steelers got some bad breaks but actually turned out ok.
Falcons
- Drake London
- Kyler Gordon
- Boye Mafe
- Abraham Lucas
- Calvin Austin III
- James Cook
- STILL ONE MORE PICK
The Falcons' offense has no receivers in light of Ridley's suspension. Adding London and Calvin Austin to the room gives them both a giant target to pair with Kyle Pitts and an electric multi-tool who can both work the slot and take deep shots. Plus a probable left tackle for the foreseeable future and a change of pace back who is the best receiving running back in the draft class.
On defense, they get a likely rising star edge in Mafe and a smart, forward-moving elite zone CB to fit into the scheme.
Notably, very few of these players are ready to make immediate high-level impacts. Mafe and Lucas are athletic balls of clay that need formation. Austin and Cook can sprinkle instant offense in, but not at the level Marcus Mariota and the current state of the O-Line can truly maximize. So they'll be in great shape to pick an early QB of the future next year.
Giants
- Evan Neal
- Jermaine Johnson II
- Devin Lloyd
- Jeremy Ruckert
- Coby Bryant
- Dameon Pierce
Checked the box on all the needs and with high-level players. Elite OT prospect that solidifies their OL after adding OGs in free agency; elite EDGE rushing prospect; elite ILB to command the defense; maybe the best 2-way TE but at least a strong blocker and security blanket. They get some RB depth behind Saquon, and finally a savvy DB who can move around and make plays on the ball perfectly filling the void left by Logan Ryan. The roster is a bit of a mess overall, but a draft haul like this has a very high floor and the top prospects have incredibly high ceilings.
Seahawks
- Kayvon Thibodeaux
- Nakobe Dean
- Sam Howell
- Darian Kinnard
- Brian Asamoah
The Seahawks came in needing a little of everything. They're in rebuild mode. But getting an elite edge prospect at 9 who was long considered a lock for #1 overall throughout the season is always an excellent start. They also got a new field general in the middle after the departure of Bobby Wagner with Dean, and a big physical OL to help solidify their preferred run-first mentality on offense. And look, I still think the Seahawks enter the season with their two young QBs (Lock and Eason) and a veteran, whether that's a veteran back-up or a move for a guy like Mayfield. But in the third with Sam Howell still on the board? They had to bite. Finally they add a versatile LB piece to the defense in Asamoah who has safety speed and ST chops.
Steelers
- Tyler Smith
- Jalen Pitre
- Dylan Parham
- Christian Harris
Had the right QB fallen, the Steelers would have gobbled him up, but the right ones didn't fall at all. That leaves the Steelers to make the best of what they have with an eye toward the future. Nothing suits that strategy better than building a depleted OLine and Najee Harris is going to love working behind Smith and Parham now and into the future. On defense, they need help all over the secondary except Fitzpatrick, so they take a guy who can play all over the secondary; paired with Minkah, the defense can get as creative as they want in how to move their pieces around and maximize the talents of the role players around them. Christian Harris was a bit of a luxury pick but a BPA for a team that seems to love undersized LBs who can fly. Would have loved to get a receiving weapon but the timing kept missing out.
Colts
- Kellen Diesch
- Roger McCreary
- Zyon McCollum
Meh. I may have over-drafted Deistch and double dipped at CB even though it's not their greatest area of weakness. The right WR opportunity didn't present itself. Nor did the right QB opportunity. Cade Otten went a few picks before I would have taken him for Indy to complement Moe Ally-Cox in 2-TE formations to run the rock with Taylor.
Raiders
- John Ridgeway
- D'Marco Jackson
Extra meh. Run defense got better, though.

Eagles
Alec Pierce
Charles Cross
Damone Clark
George Karlaftis
Jaquan Brisker
I think the Eagles absolutely killed it. Cross is super young with tons of upside. Karlaftis fills right in what philly does he n the DL. He's got nice size off the edge and can bump inside in sub packages. Piece is the big size guy to go with Smith and Brisker fixes the back end issues over the years. Clark is prob their best Ilb today. They have sucked inside like the Pack has
BUCS
Devonte Wyatt
Ed Ingram
Jelani Woods
Josh Jobe
Nothing sexy here but they fill needs with some pact. Wyatt will get after it right away and Brady will fall on love with Woods. Ingram could start as a rookie and Jobe is a depth piece
Pats
Kyle Philips
Nik Bonitto
Tariq Woolen
Zion Johnson
Another team I think won in the draft. If anything they added elite athletes. Johnson starts and Philips flourishes in this O. Woolen is a big CB that can fly. I really like the Bonito fit. He had the highest pass rusher win rate last season and he is their van Noy type. Really strong group
Browns
Christian Watson
Logan Hall
Troy Andersen
Only 3 picks for the brownies it they pair Watson with Watson. Hall is versatile oppo Garrett. Is there a position Anderson hasn't played?? Nothing needle turning here
Titans
Brian Robinson Jr.
Eyioma Uwazurike
Josh Paschal
Treylon Burks
Meh I like the players but not all 4 together. Burks and brown is pretty nasty and Robinson is a big back that adds depth behind Henry Paschal has some potential as a pass rusher and Uwazurike adds a big body inside
Cards
David Ojabo
Isaiah Likely
John Metchie III
Cards doing cards things. Staying soft and looking to score 100. Ojabo will need time and has to get stronger but he has big shoes to fill. The pass catchers are all about pushing the ball downfield

NCF’s teams aren’t in the summary.
Backthepack4ever I agree the Eagles did great, but I also think you nailed it for the Titans even though you don’t love it as a class. It really stayed true to their identity within players that I like.
Woods to Tampa is just so annoying and totally realistic.
I like the Pats but I think Woolen is overrated. Elite athlete, but not elite football player. But even that fits because Belichick has a long history of nothing second round picks in the secondary
