We have Mercedes Lewis. Cant seem to shake him. Aging, breaking down veteran. Key fumble as well last year. I guess its my failed attempt at humor brought Mercedes into the fray. Hard to understand him being on the roster at this point unless Aaron wants him around much like with Cobb. Hoping Aaron isnt friends with Terrell Owens.

Honestly, the inability to discern value in Marcedes says far more about you than you say about him.
Listen to any person involved with the team, who sees the meeting rooms and the locker room and the practices up close and in person, and they SWEAR by the impact Lewis has on the team, in terms of teaching, leadership, mentorship and by example on the field.
He is a better blocker than anyone else who can catch the ball and a better receiver than any of the offensive tackles who could do his blocking duties.
This is probably his last year. But he is obviously of value to the team, and the inability to take note of that value just shows a lack of understanding of all that goes into football besides the playmakers on Sundays

Lewis the full time blocker allows us to have a full time receiver like Waller. 2 TE sets all day baby!
