I hope Hundley GD crushes them! Got way too much hate from this fanbase. Sure, he wasn't great. But was a likable guy.
He's decent enough for a backup quarterback which is what he is. I too thought he got too much flack.
What could have been if Rodgers never got hurt that season. I think we could have flipped Hundley for a pick if it wasn’t out on display how ass he was in the regular season. His preseason he always showed out.
I say that with a ton more confidence about 2013 than I do about 2017. I think the 2017 team was running on talent fumes after the 2016 team had already WAY overachieved and 2018 was the bottom coming out.

I think he was solely talking about trading Hundley away. Honestly I don't think we would have netted much for Hundley either way. Maybe a 6th rounder.

Yeah I was referring just to trading Bumley. I’m shocked he’s still in the league honestly. He doesn’t offer much. He’s never been a successful QB not does he have any developmental interest left.
A lot of people were talking about flipping him for something. At the very least he walks the next year and someone would have paid him for a shot at a starting gig and we could have gotten a good comp pick. If Glennon got 3 years $45 I think we could have seen something similar.

Can I interest you in a conversation on the lack of talent on those mid 2010s rosters?

Hundley may not have been a starting-caliber QB in this league but McCarthy really did not put him in a position to succeed. Mac had become so reliant on Rodgers's elite QB play that when Rodgers started slow, declined, or was injured, that Mac was lost without him.
He did not know at all how to adjust and play to Hundley's strengths. Hundley had good wheels and was noticeably more effective when running a quick, up-tempo offense, but Mac would either overuse short-yardage passes or just run the Rodgers offense.

NFL, 100 years and still trying to grab all the money.

I am excited for the year the Packers play that game and the school district schedules band/choir concerts or there is a swim meet or a school play or some other &%$@ that will cause me to miss the game. They think this is going to bring in more fans? I really think this will turn a lot of people off. Guarantee their ratings are worse than last year.

As you said, the NFL doesn't care about the fans. This is all tv deals and such. They'll make more money with a Monday night game than a Saturday afternoon game.
Leave it to the NFL to do something that actually gets everyone on this forum to agree.

Screw all you guys, I love it.
Turning into like March Madness, that is a lot of awesome football over 3 days there.
I get the short turnaround 6 days and such for some teams, although that already existed in the playoffs, not gunna change much.

"Fun Change" I love how rapsheet (employ of NFL) brings in a little propaganda to the end of the news report to make our brains think we should like what the NFL is doing. Their greed is off-putting. Im sure I will watch though, but I would hate to be the winner of the MNF game and then have to play on a short week the next week. Seems like a huge disadvantage.

I like that aspect, but I wouldn't be happy if my team played Monday.

Everyone always guarantee's ratings go down when they personally disagree with it, wally been doing this for years for reasons unrelated to football.
But guess what, don't think tons of people are going to watch 10 hours of football on mid-day Saturday, but millions more will watch Monday night.
This will absolutely, undoubtedly, make ratings go up.

I guess I haven't actually looked at it, but I thought MNF was already hurting in the ratings department since like 2010.
I mean they can't find any consistent crew to call the game, the pregame is a joke and overall I thought people just didn't like MNF anymore.
I mean growing up MNF was THE GAME of the week. Now that is SNF. (TNF also significantly drew down the uniqueness of MNF). I just don't think having a playoff game on Monday is a good idea because I already hate MNF.
