I'm just not seeing these offsides penalties. To me, Runyan was clearly farther back than Myers
It sounds like they are saying he isn't far enough back. Still that imaginary zone you can't be in.
Yeah, Blandino says the guard has to be behind the point of the ball, but if that's the case, it should be getting called every short yardage play, particularly on the Eagles.

According to Dean Blandino, the neutral zone calls are a point of emphasis this year. Why? Something so petty and meaningless? WTF is the NFL doing, trying to make the game less enjoyable?

It just seems such a petty, meaningless, technical thing to penalize. It has zero impact on the game. The guards head, if it was even across, does nothing significant in the outcome of the play.
