I'm actually excited for this game, weird to say. It's been so long since the Lions made it, I was 5 when they played in the NFCCG in 91.

Nice to have a FG kicker that actually doesn't continualy hurt you. That I am serious about. Maybe bating but not really. It must be nice to have the best or minimally one of the best.
Yeah. In terms of playoff games we had that for 14 years.
And it was nice, right?!
Yes. I have always leaned toward liking good players over not as good players.

Lions doing everything we didn’t do.
Intercepting easy passes and scoring in the red zone

Yep. And their fans see it, too.

So at what point is Shanahan gonna swallow his pride and realize that he too…needs a qb that is not a trash can?

Everyone will be abuzz about the Lions after today. But I'm excited about them because I know the 2024 Packers will be able to hang with them.
Yeah, I'm anticipating the Lions holding on against the Niners. Prove me wrong. They are playing really good ball. And partly, I wish part of the Packers would be like they are - on defense.

As with most close playoff games it seems, it will most likely come down to 4th quarterbacking clutchness. Guess we will see.

That 4th and 2 was so bad by the Lions. Should have taken 3 and added to a lead in the road. Instead you swing all momentum back to the 9ers and here we are.

All that good football in the first half, erased already in the 2nd.

Yep.
For as good as Detroit played in the 1st half, they’ve equaled it with bad play in the 2nd half.
Gonna be interesting to see if they let this continue to snowball or not.

How many drops is that for him now? 3? I know it’s at least 2.

This is the type of playoff collapse that ruins a team for the following season
