I think it's equal. I would have made the trade, but I definitely can see it from YoHo's standpoint. Plus, he's a whore for those 2nd-round picks.Madcity_matt wrote: ↑25 Jun 2020 11:38Wow big trade. Seems a little cheap for saquon but not something I’d veto.

Obviously I liked it or I wouldn’t have accepted it, but I think it’s quite fair.Madcity_matt wrote: ↑25 Jun 2020 11:38Wow big trade. Seems a little cheap for saquon but not something I’d veto.
And let that be a lesson to you. If you would have been willing to give more for Saquan, get in some trade discussions so you don’t miss out next time.

I would have thought 2 1's and a 2 at minimum if I was selling, but your point on YoHo and the 2nds is valid

I do love buying them high and selling them low.NCF wrote: ↑25 Jun 2020 11:43I think it's equal. I would have made the trade, but I definitely can see it from YoHo's standpoint. I guess I could have offered Barkley to MadCity for 9, next year's 1st, and next year's second? But the lack of MadCity's picks in this draft really limited the options. Plus he's been openly looking to buy picks, not sell them. Like, I'd consider trading back from 5 to 19 for pick 19, but I already have it.
Longer-term, I opted out of last year's draft selling all my picks for contributing vets (or non-contributing vets in some cases) because I thought last year's draft stunk for offensive skill positions, and I thought Rodgers and Brady gave me a window to compete for the championship.
I over-achieved and was now left without high draft picks AND with a totally depleted roster. Once I started trying to make trades and realized how weak my bench and team were, I decided rebuilding by trading my best player for as many picks as I could get in a strong draft might be a better option. Maybe I'm wrong, but it'll be fun to find out.

I’ve been rebuilding for like 3 years now, have had crazy draft capital the past few years.
I got a lot of fun young high end potential. I’m ready to start pushing in some chips now and see if some of these guys can reach their potential.
Unless of course someone offers me multiple firsts for Saquan, then I’ll put it off another year.

I guess both yoho and i are undervaluing the RB, cause I already got an offer for more than I gave to yoho, lol.
Let me know if there is anyone on my team you particularly like.

Wow. Ok then. Huh.
Yeah, when I saw your initial trade I couldn't believe it. I immediately contacted BF and tried to get Saquon. He did well, but I still think I got Saquon on a good deal. I honestly thought Barkley was way too expensive so didn't even offer you for him, guess I am kicking myself now for not coming after you YoHo.
Titletown welcomes Barkley with open arms. Hopefully he can help us get back to back Championships.
Good luck with the picks Kellen!

I'm not saying I wouldn't love an extra 1st round pick in 2021, because I've tried to get some.
But honestly, having #5, #17, and #19 this year does feel comprably valuable to me than having #8 this year and then probably 9 or 10 and 19 or 20 next year.
Thielan over Moreau definitely tips this transaction in BF's favor for me, but I really wanted to get my picks now, not later.

The Tyrants just happened. Barkley is now in your division for the next 8 years to terrorize you. Your'e welcome.

Yeah, it definitely wasn't as lopsided as it appears on first look, IMO, but I definitely am going to have to wait a long time to reap any benefits from this, downgraded a lot this year and added a lot of future draft capital (again).YoHoChecko wrote: ↑26 Jun 2020 08:59I'm not saying I wouldn't love an extra 1st round pick in 2021, because I've tried to get some.

Barkley already in year 3, just entering his prime, but still only has 4-5 years of solid contribution.
I still think you guys are crazy for valuing RB's that much.
Kind of makes sense for Nick with his team as loaded as it is already, but damn.
