I think that penalty hurt us more than helped. 1st and 10 with down marker on the 2’ line is tough.

Raptor, what are the rules on that? I don't know. Maybe Smith violated the written word. But I think if that's a penalty, maybe they should change the rule. He clearly wasn't trying to take the legs out from Tom.

It shouldn't have been a penalty, but he slipped down to the knees so they saw it as low.

I think they called it because he went into the low crouch protecting himself. It makes you look like you are going for the knees.
