The north woods in WI is my favorite place on earth. Like you said, clean air, clean water, friendly people. Nothing like snowmobiling through the winding trails in Oconto, Marinette, and especially Forest counties.

So my wife works as a CNA at a family practice in Newport News. There's this patient, an older gentleman of Indian (dot not feather) heritage whose chief complaint is wet dreams and the fact his wife hasn't had "voluntary" sex with him (afraid to ask what that means) in over 30 years. He sees a urologist, a GI specialist, and my wife's doctor she is employed by, all females. There's a running joke in her office that his doctor visits are as close to sex as he gets.
Well, this week my wife's doctor, who is retiring, is being shadowed by her replacement - a young, attractive female doctor fresh out of med school. This guy shows up for an appointment and after chart review it is determined there is no need for an exam since this gentleman is being seen by specialists regarding his "organ" issue. Upon hearing this, this gentleman goes immediately to dropping trousers in front of the two doctors and my wife and insists upon an examination to "close the loop" and have all his health issues consolidated under one doctor, this new young female.
The "closest thing to sex" thing is no longer a running joke. Egads, there are some weirdos out there.

I'm buying a new phone in a few days. I have 500€ max for it.
Shall it be:
a) iPhone SE - Great all around, better tech than price, crap battery life and that'll get worse.
b) OnePlus Nord - 5G, best all-around value per parts inside, great phone for price. Basic Android with no frills.
c) Google Pixel 4a, GREAT camera. Otherwise competing with the Nord. If there's a headphone jack, could save money by not being forced into wireless ones.

I have been very happy with my Pixel 2... The camera is bar none the best phone camera I have ever encountered. The night sight mode especially is phenomenal. Let me see if I can get you a night pic.
I stay away from iphones simply because of the screen breakage issues. I have never had a screen break in 10 years of owning a non-apple smartphone.

Pixel 4a for sure. They're offering it in 5G too.

No way I'm not waiting some days for Pixel 4a, and see how it really does vs OnePlus Nord.
That camera... One good one is worth ten sucky ones, once you learn to use it.

I'm on my second Pixel, with the Pixel 4XL. Absolutely love the cameras on these things.

Yes, this is a PSA for voting, but listen to it because it's Packer related and funny, not for anything political. Ignore the top one, unless you don't want to.

2020 might end on a high note. The McRib is back on 12/2.
I have honestly never even tried one, but you can bet your bottom dollar that I am going to give one of those bad boys a whirl this time around.

It has been many many years since I had one of those. I doubt it would be a good thing if I had one now. Think I'll continue to pass on them.

I've never tried, no real desire to do so either. Doesn't even look appealing, seems like it would be a Salisbury style pork steak (mostly pork I would hope) smothered in high fructose corn syrup.
I'll get some of them fries though.

It actually ain’t bad. I’m not a big burger guy so the McRib was always a good alternative when my group wanted to stop at McD’s

I want to caveat this with I absolutely don't want to know what the McRib patty is made from. It certainly isn't any type of rib I've ever made for myself...

I've previously owned the Oneplus One and Three and was happy with both. I assume their update schedule has improved since then given their pretty large market share expansion, but the slow rollouts of updates was really my only gripe. Literally the anti-Iphone in terms of maximizing economization.
