I like how that shows it really is an open competition. Not one of those things where they say it is, yet continue to give vets or some guys longer leashes. Perform, or step aside.

I didn’t focus much on Patrick. I did try and keep an eye on Runyon and he was awful.

Runyan was our worst lineman performer of the night.

Patrick had a worse PFF grade, FWIW.

It actually does not look like he had an awful game against the Jets. Multiple media reports/grades saying he had a good game.

Perfect, 2 CB's I didn't think should make the 53 both traded away from an alternative CB longshot and a we'll see.

It actually does not look like he had an awful game against the Jets. Multiple media reports/grades saying he had a good game.

MLF said they'll keep trying different OL combos so they have teaching tape on all of them. He also said they already know what Patrick can do, so don't read anything into starter/back-up. That's just TC rotations to help make decisions. A vet like Patrick who knows the offense and can cover all 3 IOL spots is Super valuable for a team with Super aspirations.

Dont count out Braden to be a nice depth piece. I thought he handled RT well and is a guard imo. I really like the depth of this group. Newman is going to be a stud. Depending what the play is for jenkins long term the pack has put out really damn good OLs for a long time.

Sounds like Jordan Love practiced today which is great news.

My bet is he gets a LOT of work this Saturday. I would imagine 3 quarters if healthy and maybe the whole game.
