The Way a Packers Forum Should Be

I'd like to see a couple more sports bar restaurant options that complement Krolls, Hinterland and Kohler in the Titletown District. Take complementary football to the next level. I miss Favre's Steakhouse. Anduzzis and Stadium View menus are ho hum. You can only handle so many bowls of chili and butterburgers, and / or brats.salmar80 wrote: ↑20 Dec 2024 23:44Minor addition to Titletown:
With Titletown's winter season well underway, the development is preparing to welcome its newest addition this spring: the Packers Athletic Club.
Located in the heart of Titletown, the Packers Athletic Club (PAC) is a members-only fitness club geared toward active community members seeking a premier, one-of-a-kind fitness experience. Powered by the brand and culture of the Green Bay Packers, members will enjoy cutting-edge equipment, energizing classes and inspiring recovery areas, along with best-in-class amenities and facilities.
"We're looking forward to welcoming the Packers Athletic Club to Titletown," said Packers COO/General Counsel Ed Policy. "This facility will continue to elevate Titletown's offerings and enhance the community's options for premier fitness experiences. The PAC will join the excellence of the Packers brand with the vibrant, fitness-minded community we've built at Titletown. We're excited to welcome members to enjoy the club in 2025."
The Packers Athletic Club will be housed in Titletown's newest building, just east of the U.S. Venture Center, adjacent to Titletown's football field, with the PAC occupying the building's first floor and the southern half of the second floor.
The club's workout floor features 15,500 square feet of state-of-the-art cardio and strength equipment, two performance areas (including turf) and an expansive area for stretching or independent workouts. Two studios will offer group fitness, from yoga and boot camp to Reformer Pilates. The indoor turf training space is designed for HIIT workouts, including sleds, weights, medicine balls and other gear to enhance workouts.
The PAC's curated fitness offerings will be complemented by premium amenities, including a luxurious locker room, sauna, eucalyptus steam room, cold plunge and hot tub. Towels, shower products and personal care essentials will also be provided for use every day. Members can unwind in a relaxing lounge, make use of flexible co-working space and enjoy refreshments and snacks at the club's café.
Personally I would love this. I would love to have a high end gym that is Packers themed if I lived there.salmar80 wrote: ↑20 Dec 2024 23:44Minor addition to Titletown:

Packers didn't make the playoffs in 1992. They did make the playoffs in 1972 and 1982.RingoCStarrQB wrote: ↑24 Dec 2024 09:26I kind of like to hear that. Pack has come a long way since the 1968 to 1991 drought.
Packers lost to the Redskins in '72. Beat the Cardinals in 1982. Then lost the next playoff game to Dallas. So the Packers were still in drought mode despite having Pro Bowl receivers in 1982/83. Packers drought ended upon the hiring of Mike Holmgren in 1992. I do NOT measure droughts in terms of playoff appearances. The '72 and '82 successes were blips on the radar screen with zero follow up in subsequent seasons. '92 on there other hand was the beginning of a great positive experience / a new Camelot in Green Bay after the so many disappointments after Vince left. The '92 roster featured future Hall of Famers, and Pro Bowlers Chuck Cecil, Brett Favre and Sterling Sharpe.
