Da Bear fans used to think that Rex Grossman was going to be a great (better than good) QB. Hahahahaha

Speaking of former Bear QBs, I’m hearing that Mitch Trubisky has been benched. Hahahahaha

Rumors are Brady and Gisele have both retained divorce lawyers.

My bold prediction at the beginning of the season is starting to form. Aaron beats Brady, wins 3rd MVP in a row, wins Super Bowl and runs away with Gisele!!

Fields is a poor man's Bobby Douglass. Has to be a bummer being a Bears fan.
Last year after the Chiefs game, I observed that Fields and Love looked similar to me--and they had 58% completion percentages and similar rate stats; they both took off and abandoned the pocket too early; they both had ball placement issues. Basically year 2 of Love was year one of Fields, only Fields was forced to start while Love only played in preseason and due to injury, but their traits and development were around the same place.

At the time, the consensus response was that Love was not in the same league as Fields. That I was giving Love too much credit or Fields not enough. Now, a year later, Fields is stuck in a bad offense with bad habits and struggling to develop, Love has taken a clear step forward in preseason under the careful tutelage of Tom Clements (who I admittedly doubted, I remember), and the consensus is that Love is a mediocre QB at worst and Fields is a bust.

Funny how time works.

I don't put Fields into bust category yet. And I think you are looking at Love through green and gold glasses.

I'd need some real funky glasses and perhaps select shrooms to view Fields' 2022 play positively.

Actually, using my green and gold ones, I think Fields is exactly the kind of QB I'd like da Bears to have for decades to come...

20 sacks + interceptions vs 34 completions. Yikes.

I'm sure wallyuwl would be equally understanding and supportive if it was Love putting up those numbers...

Realistically this situation may cause "The Bears Still Suck" slogan to slide down to an unprecedented level.

They really need just like a team of two up in a booth that can oveturn any call on the field if they both agree. Been saying that for a about a decade.

They need two systems. Replay, but any play can be challenged including most penalties. Then a system like you mentioned for the most egregious bad calls.

Huh, you mean trading for two below average QBs in back to back seasons didn’t pay off?

what glasses are we looking through so far this season when we watch Rodgers miss receivers worse then any we've seen Love throw

Love under center yesterday and we probably win that game
