Patience is a virtue. Give Jordan Love and his receivers some time and he'll be there.
I agree that Love needs to be given time to show he's a legit starting QB in the NFL. There's no doubt he needs to improve significantly for that to happen though.

As did Brett Favre under the top notch professional coaching of Holmgren and Mariucci.

Once again, Favre played in a completely different era when coaches were actually allowed to coach quarterbacks though.

I was referring to the extremely limited number of practices allowed under the current CBA. For example, McCarthy was able to run a QB school in the offseason after Rodgers was drafted. There's no such thing allowed in the NFL at the moment.

thanks, didn't think about that, I remember the off season QB schools, players unions bit the hand that feeds them so to speak, seems the league would prosper as well as the QB's doing that.

I think most of us like the pre snap motion, Rodgers complained that to much of it hindered his ability to force defenses into poor match ups, well some teams use it on practically every offensive play, and defenses are at a huge disadvantage because of it, so if ya have the right players it's become a advantage, thought this was a nice read and explanation.

Somehow I think the Dolphins would be way less successful with an Injured Watson, Doubs, Toure, Winfree or Lazard like Rodgers had last year.
Regardless, if you have a player that is at a level so much higher than his peers, I think you should probably tend to call a game that fits how he plays the game. Whether its QB, you have a LB'er like LT, a ball carrier like Barry, you don't make a TE like Kelce play like Mercedes Lewis etc. you play to their strengths. Everyone else, if they don't fit, find someone that does.

Will Levis, rookie, started first NFL game today and looked 10x better than Love. And TN is a crappy team, too.

Purdy and the 9ers going through a rough patch. All QBs get figured out eventually, question is if you are good enough to still beat them when they do.

This new surgery and recovery Rodgers is doing might change things.
