Doubs had to wait on the pass. If the pass were there a second earlier, Doubs catches it on the run.
Rodgers under threw it. Doubs had a step.
He was double covered.
He got behind BOTH of them. It doesn’t matter whether there were 1 or 2 or 3 or 10 if the guy gets behind all of them. He was open. It was all on Rodgers to pass the ball at the right time and put it in the right place. He didn’t do that. By the time the (delayed) pass got to Doubs, he had to wait for it and the DBs recovered. They recovered because Doubs had to slow down and wait. That was all on Rodgers. He needs to pass earlier, trusting the WR to get open.

Watch the Bills ILBs. They are usually attacking the LOS where ours are reading and reacting. Difference between 1-2yard gains vs 4-6 yard gains.

Collinsworth: Amari Rodgers is a good player, he blocks, he... helps them block.

At 8:15 on 30 October, MLF learned the value of actually PRIORITIZING the running game. See how an effective running game (even overcoming a penalty) makes a TD pass possible?

I’m just a fan. And I saw how sticking with the run made a lot of difference.

Let’s hope that Tom and the OLine finally get some momentum. If they do, we have a chance tonight.

If we had run like this the last 3 weeks we would have won 2 of the 3 at least
