That’s coaching folks. Lafleur allows a guy who does something stupid about half the time he touches the ball to touch the ball every week and in close games.

That tells the rest of the team that doing stupid things is acceptable.

Thus team does lots of stupid stuff

That is an oversimplification, but in Amari Rodgers case, it’s spot on.
