Jimmy Johnson style trade chart via drafttek:
Pick 3: 2200
105: 84
Total: 2,284
Pick 12: 1200
Pick 33: 580
2024 1st (pick 16, 2023 2nd equiv.) 430
2024 3rd (pick 16 2023 4th round equiv.) 58
Total: 2,268
That is one chart-driven trade!
You really think Houston’s 1st round pick next year is only worth pick 48?
I’d have so gladly given them 42 and 45 for their, them specifically, next two firsts.

Richardson has a literal third eye growing out of the side of his head. Lord have mercy!

Not to mention that Pick 33 is always one of the most coveted picks in The Draft... although I suppose that is #32 this year because of MIami.

I don't know what to make of him. He is the guy I always like in every Draft but usually get burned by. I guess swing for the fences, right?

Knew Witherspoon would be the 1st CB, but really expected Seahawks to take Carter.

Witherspoon to Seattle. He was probably top 12 anyhow, so that probably doesn’t affect us.

I'm not making a value judgment myself.
I am just showing that the chart is still a strong guideline in most draft day interactions, and showing evidence that teams seem to value future picks in the way I claim that teams value future picks
It's just evidence in my pretend debate against the world that the trade chart is still relevant, and in its original style

First shocker there.
Yet still kind of not.
Matt Miller just put him in his first defensive tier with Anderson and Carter, just them 3.

Kitties are next. They’ll almost for sure take Carter, right?

Or Gonzalez. Would be nice if they took Levis.

I’m not sure who does it I just can’t see Bijan not going top 10. If Zeke and Saquan are top 10 I can’t see Bijan sticking around too long but I don’t know where the fit is.

I’m thinking eagles at 10
