Gonna have to hope for a historic GB offense, then?
The D has some great pieces, but too many real weak players too.
It's literally one weakness. Every other position with a healthy Clark should be great. I just feel the Packers since 1998 has done a fantastic job of completely sucking because of one weakness on the unit.
Every unit has a weakness. We as fans are obsessed with the excuse of personnel weakness because the Packers suck at covering weaknesses.

Once again, Rodgers needs to bail the team out.

I’m getting 2011 vibes from this team. This defense is never going to be good enough with the personnel they have. There’s nothing outside of Clark on the DL and Kirksey is clearly not going to be good enough.
This offense is going to need to do it all this year to have any chance.
This is what I was thinking, offense will have to score every time they get the football.

I'd say ILB is a weakness too thus far.
Part of the problem is terrible containment with the OLBs.

Just not true. Even with Clark this is a weak defensive line. They don’t have anything to play next to him or behind him. The ILB looks already to be a downgrade from Martinez. Kamal Martin is going to need to save this defense. Then you have Darnell Savage who is still young with potential but so far he makes a ton of blunders against the run and pass.
And even if you ignore the run defense this pass defense gives up big plays fairly consistently.

This is true. Also, our safeties are certainly not above average. They miss tackles and do not diagnose the running game well.

Worst defense ever. Need 11 new starters. Need 14 new backups. Need a new defensive coordinator. Need a new GM. Need a new team President. Need a new board. Need a new fanbase. Not even worth watching this team it is so bad...

On that crossing route Lazard caught for a first, they had Tonyan to his right, and Ervin to his right clearing the DBs. I don't know if we've seen that play before.

LOL!
LaFleur has already broken trends in this game. First was actually not time outing in a 4th down offsides trap.
Then that time we sure didn't wait until clock runs down...
