from what I read Anderson sounded like a malcontent, head case, so I doubt we had much interest

Can’t bring Anderson into this team. They’re already on the verge of a meltdown. Someone like him could push it over the edge even faster.

If this team was in a better situation I would be for it.

Hackett learning from the Matt LaFleur play calling school.

They ran Murray and Boone plenty. It was pretty clear Gordon was sidelined for something other than playcalling.

For what it's worth, ESPN's new receiver metrics ranked Robbie Anderson the worst:

https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/346 ... p-rankings
Robbie Anderson has the worst overall score since 2021

Anderson had brutal 2021 season, with 53 catches for 519 yards and five touchdowns on 110 targets. He recorded a lowest-possible Catch Score of 0, which drags him down here. Since the start of last season, he has caught his targets at a 49% rate, lowest among all qualifiers who played in both seasons.

Probably for the 4 fumbles on 55 attempts

thanks for the info CLS, I saw his career stats, and last years, and you nailed the reason we didn't hear his name, we don't need more receivers with a poor catch rate, the market must be dry or I'd expect to hear a few names we might be interested in, I still believe giving Rodgers another split second and we'd see more completions

Yes, but at the same time, give me more access to football, especially if I’m likely to be stuck with family.

I’m kind of the opposite. Don’t see my fam much and when we all do get together, the tv usually doesn’t dominate the room so I miss the games.

Plus I like the nfl being a fire hose. Short burst of overwhelming Sunday action and then sit around and dream for the next weekend.

I’m active on holidays

Makes perfect sense. Amazon on Black Friday. During halftime you can go shopping.

I don't think it's a WR issue. I think it's a QB issue. Who was throwing him the ball? And who was throwing him the ball the year before? in 2020 with Bridgewater throwing he had 91 catches. No one drops that much in catching unless something has changed. And what changed was the QB. It would not surprise me to see him at 1,000 yards and 75 receptions at the end of they year.

The QB can directly affect his Catch score, but Robbie's Open score is terrible. He's at 32 whereas the career Top 10 guys are getting >76, with the exception of Jamar Chase and George Kittle. His YAC score is 43. Not terrible but more like average-ish.

Basically: all indications are that the Vikings made a homerun hire at head coach.

12 should so something like this if he really wants another reciever.

The chiefs are always looking to add firepower.

He can't. They literally do not have a nickel to shove forward any further with his contract.
