Are we fact checking the NFL Network graphic? Like what's going on here? If I had DVR I'd go back and take a picture. Through 39 regular season games, MLF's .821 ties one all-time great, sits behind another all-time great, and is behind Guy Chamberlain who apparently is a person who was good at this a century ago.

Guy Chamberlin, that's who it was! Thanks!

George Seifert was 33-7 in his first 40 total games. 32-8 in the regular season only.
Guy Chamerblin was 34-2-4 in his first 40 total games. No playoffs in the 20s.

LaFleur was 31-9 including playoffs. If we win tonight, LaFleur will be 33-7 in his first 40 regular season games.

I wonder how close Jaire is. It should be his first game he’s eligible to come back.

Awful situation that was 100% avoidable. Bad choice by Kylin costs him big.

Yeah, hate that for him. Hate that for us. The hit was absolutely not "dirty" in that it was neither malicious nor against the rules... things were moving fast and it's hard to adjust trajectories...

but man, you hate to see a guy go head first into another guy's knee. Just a disaster. And yeah, interesting to see how Kylin's explosiveness holds up upon recovery. But that's a 2022/3 problem now.

Do you think there's ever been a 7-1 team with a lower point differential than our +25?

That 35 point hole first week... takes a while to dig out of.

no way

Okay I figured he wasn't in town because I didn't see him on the sdline, but I also kept hearing James Jones say, "when Z comes back"

Like he said it a few times in the pregame show to the point it seemed he knew something that we as fans have not been told.

Plus the 9ers, Bengals and Cardinals were honestly far closer than the actual game performance.

All three of them...4th down man. Our defense just can't get off the field on 4th down in these games that end up making them really close.

But what's amazing about it is these games almost ALWAYS result in those "weird plays and high volume 4th down conversions" to be wins for the home team. And we have won all of them.

So many guys coming back in the next week or 2. Will be interesting to see who all gets released. Hill and Tonyan will give us 2 spots as they go on IR, but will need 1 or 2 more spots still.

So at HB, do they bring up Patrick Taylor or bring someone in?

The other thing is, Patrick Taylor probably can't do kick returns, and I don't want to see Malik Taylor doing it either. I wonder if Amari Rodgers would be OK at it?

Rodgers might be better at kicks than punts. Longer decision-making process, more runway, body of a running back, more dependent on getting the ball and going than on making people miss early in the return. But that will be an interesting decision.

I would just bring up Taylor. We don't need to go outside the building for a position that likely only sees the field if there's an injury to the top two.
