Kinda funny jets fans are turning on Rodgers already. All he’s really done is said he’s working really hard to get back on the field lol. Seems they’d be more mad if he was saying he wasn’t sure if he was about to retire or not. He also took a huge paycut. The Jets GM sucking and not going to get a competent backup is not 12s fault. If they are starting to hate him now, imagine how much they would have him if he did a fraction to them of what he did to us. Rodgers has been a good citizen for the Jets.

They are not pissed just at the poor QB play of Wilson, they also are angered at how bad the other players look, and feel ripped off because Rodgers played up this idea that great players join his teams to play with him. They look less competitive in those areas than last year.

So they were expecting guys like Nuk, OBJ, Jawaan Taylor, etc. They got Cobb, Lazard, Turner, etc.

Would they look better with a competent QB? I believe Lazard would. The rest are washed and do not belong on a roster anymore.

Yeah, haha the Cobb signing was just so he could have his best friend living close to him.

They should have hung on to Steve Wilks the interim coach when they fired Rhule last year. Wilks was well liked by the team and they won 6 games under him.

Sitting at 1-10, no point in delaying the inevitable, might as well see what the interim head coach can do.

Four weeks until we play them. I feel like new coaches benefit from a lack of intel on them; Jeff Saturday coached the Colts to a win last year. But by the fourth week, we should have pretty good intel on the replacements.

Does seem to be that weird interim head coach bounce that lasts for a week or two, then trails off. We got a big win right away with Philbin. 4 weeks out is perfect.

The owner is a moron. He wants to be in the running for the Super Bowl right now. With the Panthers roster they are still a long ways away from that.

Soooooo…. at what point do the Packers investigate if the Jets exaggerated Rodgers injury so he wouldn’t play 65% of the snaps?

There is NO CHANCE he completely tore his Achilles and comes back to play in 128 days let alone 105 days. 100 days would be the day they would have to add him to the active roster (21 day window plus 79 days since injury) and 105 days would be the next game. Cam Akers made what is acknowledged as a remarkable recovery in just under 6 months and the dude was 22... You are telling me Rodgers is going to do this is a little more than 4 months for the last game of their season? Nah. OR something doesn't add up.

FYI, no diss on Rodgers at all.

Completely agree. This was just posted about Akers. Something doesn't pass the smell test on Rodgers if he actually plays. This may just be something to get him on the field doing a little more work. They've opened the window, doesn't actually mean they'll ever fully activate him.

Bold strategy by the Jets, sell out to get Aaron, trade a bunch of picks, then throw the season away playing Zach Wilson to only have to give up a 2nd instead of a 1st.

More plausible to me the sounds of mating dolphins have advanced healing powers.

Its whales, not dolphins. Get a clue.

Ok, my last thing on this unless something new happens.

Would be hilarious if Rodgers actually plays and ends up taking the Comeback POY award (or at least a few votes) from Damar Hamlin. Buffalo fans would kill Rodgers next year.
