If Hill throws a TD to Kumerow in a playoff game at Lambeau people are going to lose their minds

Darn it, he just caught a touchdown this past week.

You got that right! Only way I'd want to see that happen is if the Saints are down by a lot in garbage time. :)

That concept is significantly worse than any Packers fan predicting the Packers going 5 and 1 versus the North, with the sole loss against the Vikings.

So watching the Saints lose to the Eagles and Chiefs while the Steelers started a 3-game skid that looks likely to hit 4 this week while the Jets are leading the Browns and the Jags are tied with the Bears and the Falcons have a small lead over the Chiefs and maybe there aren't any good teams this year. Maybe it's totally wide open.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are on the clock. :waiting:

They secured the first overall pick in the 2021 draft by losing to da Bears while the Jets shocked the Browns. Even if they win next week, strength of schedule guarantees them the first pick.

The Jaguars have plenty of assets to turn the franchise into more than JAGs, as PFT sums up:
In addition to the first overall pick, the Jaguars have the Rams’ first-round draft pick and fourth-round draft pick, the Vikings’ second-round draft pick and the Browns’ fifth-round draft pick next year. They also have the most salary cap space in the league.

Good god, Packer fans need to shut up about JAGe Kumerow.

We probably should have kept him over Shepherd, but the guy was solidly average. Nice WR5, but that's it... talk about crying over spilled milk.

*edit* this was brought on by something I saw on Twitter, not anything/anyone here

I can get behind it when you know you are needing a new QB or will be getting a new HC.

I think for a team like Dallas who will be returning both, every win they get now is a step in the right direction.

Getting that CB at 7 vs 14 won’t change their franchise, putting some quality wins together with the future core of the team will.

I love what JJ Watt had to say concerning cashing it in, players like him would never endorse any form of tanking.

This is the wonderful incompetence that follows many franchises from the Ownership on down. If the Jags luck into a great GM who hires a great coach they are in an immediate situation where a QB can turn them into a contender for a good while. The Jets with their massive incompetence have nothing and a QB would get killed right up to the point where you have to pay him the king's ransom and your team building stops in it's tracks. They are probably better off sliding back and getting more picks to build a team that is on the edge of winning. Hoping to luck into a QB at somepoint down the line.

So are you still sticking with your theory that AR was tanking to get MM fired? :munch:

tanking is the wrong word, but he sure put a exclamation mark on the encompatence of using pass schemes that lacked the talent to make them affective, and not throwing to check down receivers never cost us a win, McCarthy obviously needed to be replaced, and everyone new it even though this FO was a year slow in making it happen.

You better be careful with all that fence hopping you're doing, Yoop. Might pull a groin or something... ;)

Interesting perspective on the tanking thing:

Also, from his PFT article on the topic: "The teams that have a quarterback picked in the Top 5 on their roster (the Browns, Dolphins, Bengals, Jets, Rams, Cardinals, Bears, Lions, Eagles and Falcons) have a combined record of 60-78-2 this season."
