Yeah. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Adams misses this game.
AJ Dillon missed a month last year.

Kind of surprised they are out there.
I think after a week of not practicing, and with so many players returning, they definitely should be using available practice days to get some guys some reps. Just last week we were like "we can't have MVS and Bakh back without even having any practice," and 4 days later we're wondering why they're practicing?
Well I never said we can’t have Bak or mvs back without practice. I am wondering why they are practicing. Who is this we?
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday is the normal practice schedule.
They can do all sorts of virtual meetings, only 1 bye week on a really long year, I’d take advantage of this pseudo bye, give players Friday-Tuesday with their families. Sure, sit in on a few meeting, see the game plan, watch film, etc. Physically report back Wednesday.
Anyone with kids not in GB wouldn’t even get to see their kids dressed up for Halloween.

Well a lot of people were questioning it... and should have been. These guys need to get their bodies ready for football by playing football. Mondays are not usually days off; they can be, but they aren't normal off days. Tuesdays are.
When you go a short week with no practices, you have a ton of guys who haven't played in 3-4 weeks, you just had a long, football-free weekend, why on earth would you take an extra day off on Monday before prepping for the Chiefs?

Marathon, not a race. LIS, they can do film study, game plans, installs all virtually. So much they can all do not at Lambeau. Lots of reps to be had Wed-Sat between practice and walk throughs. Big believer in mental health and what not. Especially during COVID, these guys live in a vacuum for a long time. Just a good opportunity to recharge some batteries I guess.
Don’t believe strongly in it. Just said I was surprised they were out there today. Don’t even know what we have historically done. Just had expected more time off for the guys.

We took the "marathon not a sprint" approach to last week's game, refusing to rush anyone back, going walkthroughs all week to keep their bodies fresh.
We have returning players that need reps together. We have players that need to evaluate their injuries and recoveries with live reps to test their bodies' responses. The players have been off since Friday--just had a three-day weekend, basically (the equivalent of playing Sunday and giving the guys Monday off... plus an additional day). I'm just not sure what the issue is, here. Like, adults don't need the day after Halloween off to take their kids trick or treating.

I'm with you, here, but to answer BF004's question, this is what they have historically done after their mini-Bye weeks. They have always practiced on Monday. I'm sure it was light and just to kick the rust off from a long weekend and to break up the extra-long break they would get otherwise and to get back to their normal schedule. I believe they are now not back on the field, again, until Wednesday. Seems appropriately scheduled to me.

Adams was fully vaccinated and I would expect his symptoms to have been minor. I'd be rather surprised if he misses another week.

Chandler Jones who was also vaccinated was out for two games. I expect Adams to be out for this week as well.

I mean sometimes it just takes a while to kick a bug. I have nasty colds that last 10 days.
Sounds like the Packers are hoping for Joe Barry to return on Thursday. MLF sounded like the hope is the same time period for Adams but I guess we will see.

Yeah I would think the vaccine would hopefully keep you from showing symptoms, and very hopefully keep one from being in serious trouble with Covid.
BUT out of the vaccinated people I know that still got Covid and showed symptoms...they still got pretty darn sick. Like some it was still like a bad flu that lasted a while.
Plus, someone like us could get over a flu and comeback to work and not feel 100% but still power through and then hit the bed after our shift, thats a lot different thing than getting over a flu and running around in an NFL game

So who do we want today? Here's who I'm hoping Gutey can make a deal for.
Aaron Donald, Xavien Howard, Allen Robinson, Ray Nitchske in his prime, George Kittle. Probably won't get all of them, but 1 or 2 would be nice.

I know. I think about that whenever I get a cold, congestion, etc.
Like I can power through a lot of stuff as a CPA and yet still feel like I was only 60% effective or worse because of head congestion not allowing me to think clearly. It sucks.
I may try and lift weights to get through but also suck at that (but no cardio)
But imagine these guys. They need to run. They need power. They need to reaction. All of which can be significantly hampered by a even a cold.
It's a lot of pressure to be 100% ready and good to go on specific days.

I'd be willing to give up a 4th. Gonna need to ask the team we are trading with to restructure so they absorb the cap for us.

I'd even give up a 3rd. We don't use those well anyway.

We really need to either sign Taylor to the active roster off the PS or get a RB. We can't have only 2 RBs going forward.

wonder if the team is still happy they dumped Sternberger, or if they feel it would have been nice to have him around for a time such as this.

I'm fine with 2 on game day. If they are dinged up thats different but 2 to get through a Sunday is fine.
Cooks is my dream add
Id being calling about Smith and engram at TE.
Fletch next to Kenny would be crazy but might be hard grab
