Colts fired Frank Reich.
They should have "fired" Matt Ryan and the GM who signed him.

5 of the 8 lowest scoring offenses are led by Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, Russell Wilson, Matthew Stafford and Matt Ryan. Couldn't have predicted that a handful of years ago.

Wow, and the Colts bring in Jeff Saturday as interim coach. Nothing like bringing in a guy with no experience, out of the TV booth, passing over the rest of your staff that have former head coaches. Yet no one on the staff has experience calling plays.

Colts sure do know how to tank for a QB!

Who is this year's can't-miss QB?

The national sports media seems to be warming up to the idea that Justin Fields can be Chicago's franchise QB. Heard Colin Cowherd talking him up this morning. So, hope he doesn't pan out.

I’ve said all along Fields passes my eye test.

Justin Fields is a runner that can pass. That never pans out in the NFL. It works for a bit then they either get hurt or are figured out.

Yup. 6 passing TD's the last 3 games. Russell Wilson started the same way. Bear put up 94 in those last 3 games. But they lost 2 of them. Not because of him, but because they have no defense. He gets some help, the Bears could be dangerous in the future.

I see you fail to understand what "pans out" means. Very convenient to ignore the previous 18 games. Comparing him to Russell Wilson just shows laughable ignorance. Might want to refresh yourself on Russell Wilson as a year 1 and 2 player, cause you obviously forgot.

Oh I know what it means. But before you say it never pans out, you really should watch him play more. You can wish he doesn't pan out. But I have a feeling he will. In the meantime, In the last 3 weeks, the Bear's offense scored more points than the Packers and Bucs combined. So, until people have him "figured out" as you say, he will be a threat.

Yeah, Wilson's 1,000 yards of rushing is normal for young QB's their first 2 years.

I should watch? It's very obvious you haven't see more than 1 or 2 games he has played. As I said, he is a runner that can pass. He is not an NFL QB and that gets figured out or they get hurt.

Honestly, your comparison to the Bucs and Packers just shows you are grasping at straws to back up your opinion. The Packers and Bucs offenses suck!

Was he a threat 4 weeks ago?? So silly base everything off such a tiny sample since. You can wish these 3 games are exactly what he is or you can take it into account the previous 16 as well.

How about his first 2 seasons with 26 passing TDs each and 10 or less INTs. Like pans out, you don't understand what runner that can pass means.

Not convinced at all that a 58.9% career passer can make it in the NFL long term.

Ah yes, total numbers. See, what I'm looking at is the whole picture. The completion percentage going up, the TD % going up while INT % is going down YPA going up, over those two years. That shows me he's learning. And he as who to throw to?

But I do know what a runner that can pass means. It means you have put a label on him and no matter how well he does as a QB you will always see him that way.

Either the talent was there for him to do well or it wasn't. Can't have it both ways. Nice try though.

Thank you for proving that you don't.

Justin Fields the first 6 games of this season: 63 completions in 115 attempts,, 54.8%, 869 yards, 4 TDs, 5 INTs. He has played well the last 3 weeks, but 3 weeks does not a career make.

8 Games does not make a career either. Well, except for you. He's toast. He's no good. He's a running QB that can throw. We shall see.

Had a phenomenal 2019 and decent 2020. Injured 2021 and kind of figured out. Probably top of the list.
