Breece Hall 4.4 yard average.
Dalvin Cook 3.2 yard average.
I would pass.
Cook averaged 4.7 in Minnesota, and around 1,200 a year, So he is capable behind the right line.

He is with a good line. But I think Jones is better. Zero reason for the Packers to have an interest in him. I would say he might end up with a playoff team that has issues or injuries among their RB's. But then, if they got this far, they might just hold onto what they have. The interesting place would be Buffalo and pair him with his brother.

Breece Hall averaged 1.2 yards more than him behind the same line...

He also had 3 times the attempts. And that can make a difference. One 40-yard run per game can really change your average. Sometimes it's not the player, but how the player is used that matters.

I'm not against Dalvin Cook, but if Jones and Dillon are healthy, I don't really know what purpose it would serve. His name doesn't scare me like it did in 2019.

Michael Carter, 8 attempts, 4.8 average.
Israel Abanikanda, 19 attempts, 3.4 average.
It's a little more than just limited attempts, not being used right, and the line not being good.
We shall see if he has anything left.

Yeah I would only go with Cook if Dillon can't go and we want someone to be ahead of Patrick Taylor.
Honestly I am okay with Taylor. Yes he doesn't know that going out of bounds stops the clock but he is good in pass protection and actually gets serviceable yards that are blocked for him. My 2nd back needs to be good at pass blocking

Packers join Panthers, Patriots and Commanders as teams without 2024 Pro Bowlers. Even the Bears got two. Kinda like it actually - add to that chip.

Emanuel Wilson is in his return from IR practice window, also.
Don't see a RB addition at all right now.
Also, Dalvin Cook isn't good anymore. So if we made one, it would be more likely to see Kenyon Drake back than Dalvin Cook in town.

He is in the window. But I haven't heard him practicing yet right?

Robert Kraft reportedly pulled rank on Bill Belichick on a coaching staff decision:
https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/ro ... 7e95&ei=38
So Belichick wanted to bring then-OC Matt Patricia back despite dismal offense last year, but Kraft shut that down, leading NE to part ways with Patricia and hire Bill O'Brien as OC.

Can Murphy "pull rank" on LaFleur in D-Coord hiring?
I don't mind you want Murphy to
choose the next DC, I just want someone to stop Matt from making another stupid ass hire like Barry again and just say, "Nope, you're not hiring Brandon Staley. Try again."
I know it's been mentioned that MLF's contract says he has full control over coach staffing, but like... still.

Unless I'm mistaken, Murphy can do whatever the bylaws and executive committee allow

I wish the Packers would adopt a policy similar to this.
