He's only 32?!! Holy hell, I swear he has been in the league for 20 years!

There are going to be enough teams fighting for him that they will get a good haul. Certainly a #1. His cap hit is about 15 million under market. Anybody could dismiss any negatives by saying, "Well he's been playing for the LIons." And there are a lot of positives. Teams that want him think they are a step away and a SB is worth a #1.
I’m not so sure. We will see but I think they get a 2nd at best. Older QB with a history of injuries and losing. Big contract that expires soon. Already lost leverage that he’s leaving.Cdragon wrote: ↑24 Jan 2021 06:55There are going to be enough teams fighting for him that they will get a good haul. Certainly a #1. Send him to the Pats cause they finally have a team they are looking up at.
He's got 2 years left at $20 and 23 million. That is really cheap. 32 isn't what it was and that is still before the old day when QBs fell apart at 35. His int ratio is a lot better than early in his career, he's been watching a ton of tape of AR and his game has changed. He missed 8 games last year otherwise he's played every game from 2011 to now. Yeah they lost, they are the Lions. People will take that into consideration. But don't underestimate desperation when a GM has one last shot at keeping his job.lupedafiasco wrote: ↑24 Jan 2021 07:12I’m not so sure. We will see but I think they get a 2nd at best. I think a 1 easy, prolly a 1 and a 3, maybe a future 2nd day pick as well.
I could see this. First, it would not cost an arm and a leg to get him. HIs contract is very doable for them for the next two years. And in reality, he is not that bad of a QB. And I know I'll take some heat for this............But if you compare his stats to some other QB's He really isn't that bad. Now, the Interception percentage is a bit higher. Also, I only included the first 12 years of the other players. I think Hoodie could do well with him. Much better than with Cam.

Won't get any heat from me about Stafford. I've always respected him, tough SOB too. I just don't think he's had the guys around him to actually make a run. He'll get something and lose something else. It never feels like a complete roster to me.Raptorman wrote: ↑24 Jan 2021 10:55I could see this. First, it would not cost an arm and a leg to get him. I am, live in Rochester and am a Buffalo Sabres fan, family are Bills fans. This is the best team they've had since 1993 and can definitely see them winning it all. City will be lit on fire if they win. Definitely rooting for them here.TheGreenMan wrote: ↑24 Jan 2021 17:59Anyone actually.... watching the AFC game? I'm struggling to care.
