I haven't really been following this, but I have always felt that the league 100% owed the city reimbursement for the stadium that was 100% publicly funded and that the Rams left only a few years into the lease. Sounds like that worked out. I have nothing against publicly funded stadiums, but they definitely come with a commitment.
Sounds like Griffen either has some medication imbalance going on or he's gone full cra-cra. Sad news in any case.Vikings released a statement on the Everson Griffen situation saying their "only concern" is the "safety and well-being of Everson and his family."
Early Wednesday morning, Griffen posted a troubling video of him holding a gun and saying people were trying to kill him. He also posted screenshots of messages to his agent, Brian Murphy, asking for help and again saying people were there to hurt him. "Vikings representatives and the team's mental health professionals have been on-site at Everson Griffen's home since early this morning," the statement says, "and are cooperating with law enforcement." According to the Minnetrista Police Department, officers have been talking to Griffen since early Wednesday morning, but to this point, he has refused to exit his home. We hope this situation is quickly resolved and Griffen gets whatever help he needs.
Or maybe, just maybe someone was really in his house.APB wrote: ↑24 Nov 2021 11:04From RotoWorld:
