I agree, but if his market is light, I would consider bringing him back. But I imagine someone gives him at least a healthy 3 year(1 year prove-it) deal over what we can offer. I hope it happens for his sake and ours.
I would pass on King. At minimum because of availability. I think Sully, Douglas and drafting a slot CB is the way to go.

The players I want back are Mercilus and Campbell. I put them way ahead in priority of King. Whitney Mercilus is really interesting now with his injury.
I'm assuming we won't re-sign Rasul for 1 reason or another. Sully I don't recall his status. I'm big on Jean-Charles's future as well as a slot guy. But we need to make sure we have at least a 3rd outside option after Jaire and Stokes. But that may just be another rookie next year, which I'm ok with.
Yeah you never know.

I would be surprised if Jean Charles ever becomes something. He just gives me those vibes. But who knows. Maybe the game slows down for him.

Ole Bane Gary is actually kind of bada** now. Im starting to like his character that I once found a little corny. I liked how Schefter put out a tweet of his status and he quickly put one out saying dont listen to anybody but him or someone on his payroll haha. #PutCheeseOnEverything

According to Football Outsiders, The #1 seed is now the Packers' most likely outcome 8-)

Another FootballOutsiders nugget; an explanation as to why the Packers DVOA ranks 11th despite being 8-2:
We've written a lot about Green Bay and Tennessee this year. The Packers moved up in DVOA this week with a nice win against Seattle. Their defense has really turned things around over the last month. Green Bay's defensive DVOA for Weeks 1-6 was 11.4%, which was 27th in the league. Green Bay's defensive DVOA for Weeks 7-10 was -22.3%, which was sixth in the league. The Packers are still being held down in DVOA by their terrible Week 1 loss to New Orleans and by a lower offensive DVOA for the game where Jordan Love played quarterback while Aaron Rodgers was out for COVID.

Kind of like Hollman. Swing and miss. Totally obsessed with Slaton now though. Love his upside as a 5rh rounder.

Haha. I was going to say the same thing. Except honestly Hollman had more reason for hope his rookie TC and preseason than Charles has.

Not to say he can't turn it around, but usually these later round guys...if they don't show anything that rookie year, we know how the story ends.

I think Hollman was taller as well. Not sure what happened. I remember he got some hype in training camp.

I really hope the Gary is good to go! I don't want to go into Viking week with Garvin and P Smith only.

Must mean good news on the MRI.

Biggest thing is will Gary be effective. It's one thing to play. It's another thing to be effective.

I don't wish injury upon anyone. But it would be nice if we had Mercilus over Garvin.

Yeah, I wonder how effective a speed-to-power guy will be playing with a brace. =/

seriously it really hurt to see Whitney get hurt, for a old guy he still had some juice, was playing well, he'll probably just retire now.

Gary uses his hands alot. I still vote to incur the loss of not having him out there and take our chances. I would rather have him healing without contact in time to come back for the Rams game. I think we can beat the Vikings without him.

I think you are under estimating the vikings a bit but I agree Gary should sit this one out.

The Vikings are 4-5. They are a talented mess with holes to exploit. If worst case scenario we lose this game to them, I would take that if it meant Gary closer to 100% later in the year over playing through pain all year. I see about a 0% chance we lose the division even if we lose this game. However, I think we can beat the vikings without Gary.

I'm hoping Gary is ok, but that tweet is from two days ago so it doesn't have anything to do with today's scan.
