Not hilarious to him I am sure. Almost every time a Dlineman or LB would touch him would be called as roughing the passer now.

In case people missed it, we signed Nate Orchard to the PS.

Saw a stat that surprised me (it shouldn't). Rodgers only needs 8 TDs to pass Favre as the Packers all time TD passing leader(442 vs 435 doesn't include playoffs). With 5 games to go its likely. He's thrown at least 2 TDs in every game this year except 2 (week 1 and 10 where he threw 0).

Still needs 193 INTs to pass Favre, tho... ;)

Absolutely unbelievable that is. You really have to sit back in awe of it.

Favre threw more picks in his four worst seasons combined, than AR has in all of his 14 years as a starter.

In his 1st year starting, AR threw 13 picks, his worst year yet in that regard. Favre had under 13 picks one time as a starter, and that was as a Viking.

Is there anybody here that can point to an impact play made by Stephon Gilmore since his move to the Panthers? Any game-winning plays?

I can't, not without looking anyway. I honestly can't even recall seeing him in a highlight.

I count two game-winning plays and multiple game-impacting plays made by Rasul Douglas since he joined this Packers team.

I was as disappointed as anybody when Gilmore decided to sign with his hometown Panthers over the Packers. With Jaire's injury still relatively new, Gilmore was exactly what the Packer secondary needed, or so I thought.

Then, in what seemed a troll move, Gutekunst signs Rasul Douglas on, if I remember correctly, the very same day.

Just boggles the mind when you look at it all in retrospect. Man, what a godsend Douglas has been...

Gilmore did seal the Falcons game with an easy INT off a terrrrribly underthrown Matt Ryan pass.

But Rasul has more defensed passes and is a veritable tackling machine, averaging over five tackles per game compared with Gilmore's 9 total tackles. Douglas also forced a fumble.

All in all, if I had to pick three players for season-thus-far Here's Johnny's, I'd take Douglas, Campbell and Nijman. All have been much needed.

Rasul Douglas is the best tackling CB has had since Charles Woodson. He is so, so good at it.

I'm salivating at the idea of nickel package with Alexander, Stokes and Douglas. No weakness there. Stokes and his gazelle feet are exciting in their own right. Somehow he managed to get rid of the balance problems that plagued him in college.

Yep it was the same day. To think that we were disappointed that we got neither Gilmore or OBJ and instead, Douglas and Campbell have been absolute ballers for us this year at a fraction of the price.

Pound for pound, I would agree with you, but Alexander is just smaller and can't consistently bring the hits and tackling that Douglas can.

Alexander does so, so great for his size because of his effort. But Douglas I believe overall makes me more comfortable. The dude tackles like a top end tackling safety.

I am too! I think they are gonna be a fantastic trio!

If there is one complaint I have on Stokes, it's his ball skills. That still appears to be a challenge for him. You see him get his feet tangled or lose balance once it becomes apparent an adjustment needs be made. It's like he panics right at the worst time - at the arrival of the football.

The WRs he defends generally get an advantage over him during that limited sequence but, all in all, he has been more than solid. I think once he cleans up that aspect of his game, and I think he will, he'll be every bit the first round pick value we always seem to be complaining about.

I think the whole secondary needs their offseason homework to be developing their ball skills. Stokes especially, because it's a lot more than just catching the ball, as you mentioned. But MAN we drop a lot of potential INTs. Had at least 2 yesterday--maybe 3 but I didn't have a good angle on an overthrow that was near Savage

Saw it somewhere, can't remember where, but how dare he drop a pick 6 while wearing #21 with Sir Charles in the house on the day we honor his HOF induction.

Yeah I think it was Peter Bukowski who did a show with Eric Stokes's personal DB coach earlier in the season and he basically said Stokes is everything you want except he thinks too much at time of the ball.

He said all Stokes needs is to make a few of those plays and he will stop thinking and then watch him dominate.

We can all see it. This guy is having a better rookie season than Alexander did IMO. If he puts it together, the CB play the next 4 years is gonna be *chef kiss*
