Aikman
To clarify, if I recall correctly, the Cowboys ended the Packers' seasons in 1993, 1994, and 1995. When they finally won it all in 1996, the Panthers had taken out the Cowboys for us. I believe over that 4-year stretch, the Packers were something like 1-5 against the Cowboys, while otherwise being quite successful.

THEN he became a broadcaster I loathe.
Aikman is my least favorite broadcaster. People love to give Collinsworth hell and others. But for me, nobody hides their bias less than little troy. There can be a favorable call for the Packers in the 2nd qtr and he will still be talking about it in the 4th qtr. I am happy he is moving to monday night where we will only see him once now.

Jim McMahon.

I hate him even more for being a Packer.
I love almost everything about Jim McMahon.
Packer fans seem to hate McMahon, possibly because he wore a Bears Jersey to the White House in 97, thing is his 85 Bears team couldn't go, so he wore it in there honor.
McMahon barely made it through BYU for spouting Christian theology in that basically Mormon school, if not for being a gifted football player He probably would have been.

then of course the super bowl shuffle, I have to admit I was jealous of that 85 Bears team, easily one of the best in there storied history.

I also would say Seattle.

We honestly have DOMINATED the Seahawks in the Pete Carroll and Mike Holmgren era.

For the exception of 4 minutes that changed the dynamic of our rivalry forever....

Surprised no on mentioned Capers yet!

All good options I'm seeing. No idea why this popped into my head last night. The combination of tequila and bourbon maybe wasn't the wisest move.

Of late, it really feels like the '9ers.

There is always that *one* team that $%@#'s with us, and it changes every year, but SanFran has been the most recurring villain.

And it stings a little bit more with that famous Rodgers quote about him making them regret passing him in the draft.

well look at all the convo you stirred up, course I can't promote drinking for inspiration, even though I'am sure it works, my motto is get down off the stools and go by more tools, tools you'll have forever, other then the hang over the next day, Booze goes down the waste pipe a hour after consumption

should sticky this thread, and we can add to it when another evil doer pops in our head :aok:

Devin Hester became the greatest returner ever by running them back constantly vs. the Packers. The % of his returns to the house that came against GB is just tragic.

who is my enemy in this scenario...Hester, or Packers STs coaches over the years?

Packers STs coaches are a great candidate for this discussion.

My "Only Vikings" list:

Randy Moss - already mentioned

Chris Hovan - already mentioned

Adrian Peterson - Besides the actual games, lets' not forget the guy beat his kid. What a turd. :x

John Randle - Remember that commercial where he put a Favre jersey on a chicken and chased it for training purposes? I guess that was kind of funny.

Daunte Culpepper - I hated that guy. His "rolling" celebration was so stupid.

Brett Favre - Duh!

Devin Hester - Of course

Rex Grossman - Sexy Rexy? More like...um...uh...Wrecks Grossman! Yeah, take that!

Jay Cutler - So hateable, but so fun to watch throw interceptions

Mike Ditka - Daaah Worst!

Kap. He wasn't even that good but ruined 2012 and 2013 which could have been promising. And he started the whole kneeling thing against the Packers and the whole saga took a lot of the joy of football away for at least two years and still isn't 100% back

I would honestly say their enemy #1 has been themselves, the Packers. I mean, there cannot be many franchises in sports who were "supposed" to have won it all but didn't as many times as we have in the past ~30 years. Frankly this past year was kind of the final straw for me. Of course I'm still a fan (always will be) but gotta be honest, am wearing a bag over my head these days. You can blame the refs, the 49ers, Marshawn Lynch, Eli, etc. until the cows come home, but at the end of the day the one common denominator is us.

Actually, the problem McMahon had at BYU was he liked to drink alcohol a whole lot. BYU honor code doesn't allow this, pre-marital sex or using caffeine.

The people that hire the special teams coaches and players should make ur hate list. The poor coach is just trying to do his job and is not at fault imo. The whipping boys on this forum only have jobs given to them by the very superiors that are praised here. Baffling.

Yeah. Packers fans used to say we were about championships and made fun of Minnesota.

But if we're being honest, we are choke artists when we get near the Bowl the last 25 years.

Kaps kneeling isn't what hurt the Packers, his ability with run option did, why is it people think Kap was a lousy QB, or that his kneeling was so wrong, worthy causes call for drastic measures.

I wasn't going to respond, but you are sooo wrong.

yep, finally it seems we are righting that ship with the hire of a guy with successful history and also drafting a few players that should do well on ST's, ya get what ya pay for when it comes to coaches.

choke artist, or is it simply mistake prone, look at all the drops in 2020, and the lack receivers to take the heat off Adams last year, or the special teams blunders every year.
