I can just imagine what you guys would have said about Brock Purdy if we had taken him last year :rotf:

I think there have been a lot of mid round QB's taken no one would have liked and became fair NFL QB's

I had my heart set on the Purdue QB Aiden O'Connell. But the Packers must have really liked Clifford. Brought him in for a visit. Honestly he has a lot of traits you love in a backup QB. We definitely needed a QB. Seems like we took the guy we wanted.

What I'm reading, this guy seems like just the kind of guy you want as a backup, clipboard holder, running the scout team. We don't need a backup who can win now. Maybe he's the type of guy who can help elevate the younger guys and bottom of the roster. :idn:

We needed a backup QB. He has the makeup of a good backup QB. He was drafted to be a backup QB and scout teamer.

other then the very best in class, I think it's almost impossible to grade a QB simply because most have a arm that is good enough to play in the and physical ability as well, what we can't know is the mental ability to deal with the speed of the NFL game intricacy of NFL defensive coverage schemes, sounds like Clifford is a smart kid, so he could be a quick learner

Not a bad thing. if he makes Love better, that's worth a 5th.

Our most effective backup between Rodgers and Love was Matt Flynn. What was Flynn's scouting report like? He didn't have a very good arm either.
