What is with the short practices? All camp they have been short. 90 minutes or so mostly, with the occasional 2 hour. In high school we had two 2 hour practices a day.

I wonder if it translates to fewer injuries?
I don't have any data on this but I don't think there has been any real reduction in injuries. But again...just my "gut" feel. And guts are usually wrong.
It doesn't seem like injuries have declined. According to Football Outsiders' Adjusted Games Lost metric all 14 teams that have suffered the most injuries since 2001 have come after the CBA in 2011 significantly limited practice time. Actually seven of those instances occurred since 2020.
