Anyone remember the bomb to Driver in 2009?

Nope. But I'll never forget the bomb to Sharpe from Favre. It wasn't a Thanksgiving Day game. It was at the Silverdome. He heaved the ball across the field and deep to a wide open Sharpe on a pseudo busted play.
Sharpe had an injury and couldn't run full speed. He said after that if he was fully healthy he would have been through the endzone when the ball got there.
heres what a strong arm looks like, 70 yrds in the air to Driver

One thing that is trending better is way less penalties...
Yes.

That is the one controllable thing that MLF and Co. seem to have arrested. No more continually shooting themselves in the foot by derailing offensive drives and extending defensive stops. That, alone, goes a long way in improving their on-field competitiveness.
I hope that is really the case. Or it could have been a zebra crew with more of a let them play attitude.

Erin Andrews is overrated. Never could understand how she made it. Whats the name of the chick Favre send his d@ick pics to? She‘d be more suitable while stuffing oneself with roasted turkey. 8-) Or Tracy Wolfson, a quarter century younger.

Tracy Wolfson is gorgeous. But I was shocked to find out that Andrews is actually only 3 years younger than Wolfson.

Wolfson is gorgeous. But I thought she had to be in her 50s/early 60's.

Wolfson is 48.
Andrews is 45.

LaFleur said it was not a ruptured appendix that landed Musgrave in the hospital, but provided no further details. He added Musgrave no longer is in the hospital.

Could it be a blessing in disguise that this team is a heavy underdog? Sometimes you play looser when you feel like it's a longshot. :)

magic Mike would have kept that conversation so simple, with, yep you guessed it, " Musgrave has a gut" no laughing emoticon, I hope he has a speedy recovery :?

Am I the only one who wants to see Caleb Jones at TE in the red zone tomorrow!

I kinda want to see him at T, tbh. If we are not going to just entrust it to Walker or Nijman exclusively and instead do some kind of a "rotation," might as well include Jones in the mix, if nothing else just to confirm if we really don't have a long-term future starter opposite Zach Tom.

But they are probably just grooming him to be our swing-tackle for a couple years after they move on from Yosh.

But most of the time you just lose.

Our offense was a well oiled machine in those days. There were so many weapons. Even guys like Donald Lee were invaluable pieces to have. Young Aaron Rodgers sure did play with fire in his belly.

Lions D has been bad the last several weeks. Needed a Bears collapse to win. 15 guys on the injury report? Who cares! We got this. St Brown says he can't name a Packers defender. He's gonna learn tomorrow!

I totally agree. I can feel a big upset coming. Jordan Love may break one or two scampering on his own (nothing to lose). Goff may get knocked silly early and often. Dillon may go into beast mode and dominate.
On any given Thursday! :aok:

I haven't generally accepted injury as an excuse for losses this season, but Lions are a team where we need all hands on deck. Sadly, I don't think we have the horses to beat them, but ya never know. I am just hoping for a fun and competitive game like the past few weeks.
Was going to say the same. I think our injury situation is really going to catch up with us.
You guys are probably right, but its the NFL so you never know. Thanksgiving games can be weird sometimes. One thing that is trending better is way less penalties and not starting drives at our 7 yard line. Or, at least it seems better. I haven't actually looked at the numbers. Better starting field position is such a big deal and changes everything offensively both for the QB and play caller.
Yes, it seemed like we had fewer penalties Sunday (we finally got to see the entire game on replay on NFL Network this afternoon). We still struggle rushing and it is going to be much more difficult tomorrow. If the OL gives Love some time back there he looks pretty decent.

So the Packers have 16 players on the injury report.

The Lions have one player who is less than Full Participant.

Somewhat even on the injury front.
