Good for JRJ. He got more than what he was worth IMO.
Very good for JRJ. That is some serious money.

About $40 in cap space available (After Jones and Bak).
McKinney 17 per, still no numbers on Jacobs.
But either way, still more money available for OL depth or possible starting RG (hope we don't spend for one looking at what they are getting), starting LB or another safety.

Only 12 million guaranteed, probably a 2 year deal with some expensive tack on years.

They still have some $$ to spend but don’t forget about the big contract they’re going to hand Jordan Love. I could see Gutey signing a mid-tier LB. There is a lot of OL depth in the draft.BF004 wrote: ↑11 Mar 2024 15:33About $40 in cap space available (After Jones and Bak).

Love is the answer…
According to Over The Cap Jacobs will count $5.3 million against the cap in 2024.BF004 wrote: ↑11 Mar 2024 15:33About $40 in cap space available (After Jones and Bak).

They likely don’t need any more cap this year to extend Love. They could probably create cap space.Foosball wrote: ↑11 Mar 2024 19:23They still have some $$ to spend but don’t forget about the big contract they’re going to hand Jordan Love. But yeah, I’d rather not over extend that and maybe increase his ‘24 cap a bit so it isn’t so backloaded.

Chase Young would be a fun 1 year sign if his price is low enough.
We need a body early in the year, he played for Hafley at OSU, only 24 years old.
Let him have a great year, potential to resign him at Preston’s expense or hope to get a nice comp pick.
