I think MM gets too little credit in Green Bay land since he left. That said, we're not looking for a new HC so no I wouldn't consider it.
He is a fine coach and will always be my home boy. I love, love LOVE Mike McCarthy. 2006 - 2010 Mike McCarthy is peak of football enjoyment in all sense of the word. But if this fan base ain't happy with MLF's performance....ain't no freaking way they would be happy with MM's performance (who by the way is 0-2 vs MLF)

well we seem to agree in part anyway  , we both like Mike when Aaron had more than just 1 or 2 very good receivers, and not so much when he didn't, to me that was the turning point, Mikes pass schemes required top tier receivers, the Lafleur pass schemes, less so, in fact we hear all the time that Matt schemes receivers open, minus that and it's all up to the receiver.

Be interesting to see where McCarthy ends up, good luck to him where ever that is, except when playing us

My love of McCarthy has nothing to do with your WR pet topic.

It's funny because you can almost believe he would say these things.

No, MLF is way better.
At this point, yeah. But MM in his prime was absolutely top notch.
Come on down and try some of our delicious green chili! Best in the world!

So was Bill Parcells.

I wouldn't want that guy, either.

It's interesting to me that McCarthy is continually viewed with a negative hue and his value as a HC constantly questioned yet these other guys are rarely questioned and consistently viewed among the all-time great.

I would be interested in seeing what McCarthy could do with Jordan Love, developmentally. I will just say that.
I will stick with MLF. I like his offense a ton. Hopefully he keeps learning on the job to get better.

I will say this about McCarthy. Whether a QB coach, coordinator or head coach, every QB he coached seemed to improve and find new levels of better play. That is going back before GB and through Prescott.

Of course. I wasn't suggesting that I'd want McCarthy as coach. Even though I'd bet he could do good things with this roster. Simply saying that, as a guy who had a hand in coaching Joe Montana, Matt Hasselbeck, Mark Brunnell, Aaron Brooks, Matt Flynn, Brett Favre, Aaron Rodgers, etc., I think it would be interesting to see what he could do with Love, in this hypothetical scenario.
Cowboy up.
